Dog whisperer and loving human
Hello! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for all kinds of personalities, from energetic working breeds to sweet and emotional companions. Growing up, I helped care for our family dog Lucy, a German Shorthaired Pointer with a beautiful spirit. We lived on 10 acres of forest, so I spent a lot of time taking her on long walks where she could run, explore, chase birds, and sniff out squirrels, exactly what she loved to do. I was also there for the less glamorous but most important parts of dog care: helping her through sickness, comforting her during stressful nights like the 4th of July and making sure she always felt safe and loved. Lucy is no longer with us, but she was the foundation of my love for animals and taught me how to communicate with dogs in a patient, gentle and intuitive way. For many years I also cared for a Alaskan Malamute named Romeo, he gave me a lot of experience with large, strong, affectionate dogs. He has a very special place in my heart and taught me even more about the bond that can form between a person and a dog. What sets me apart is how quickly I’m able to emotionally bond with people’s pets and make them feel comfortable and trust me. I’m active, patient and genuinely love spending time with dogs AND cats. Growing up Erik loved and cared for our Family dog Lucy and enjoyed hanging out with her for hours playing in our beautiful 10 acre property!! Erik walked, fed and cared for her needs. I would highly recommend and trust Erik to love and to take care of any dog as if it was his own!

Schedule
I’m available for boarding or dog sitting at my home any day of the week. I do work fulltime during weekdays, but I’m available for early morning and late afternoon/evening walks or drop in visits. I’m also available for Friday and weekend overnights or boarding. I live right next to the beach and am very active, so I love bringing pups along for exercise, fresh air, and plenty of attention. Whether your dog enjoys beach walks, playtime, or just a cozy place to relax, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for and loved while you’re away.

I have a fenced courtyard and go on walks constantly as I live right next to the beach. My apartment has a ton of natural light and sea breeze and comfortable spots for the puppers to relax.
A typical day
I like to walk daily on the beach so when I'm dog sitting and if your doggo is active I will take them for a beach sunset walk with me :)
