I worked at the dog shelter for 4 years . I’m familiar with how each individual dog does in a daily routine. I also have offered myself walking my neighbor dogs. Erik was amazing!! And he was so patient with my little doggy was scared at first. He offered to pick her up when I was running late and washed her blanket without me asking and even brought it over after her stay was over. I could tell he was so sweet with her, I highly recommend!!
Our dogs had an amazing time with Eric! His yard is perfect for our two large doggies to run around and have fun! Eric constantly sent photos and videos of the dogs and we left our pups with him for about 11 days in a last minute booking. He was reliable and will definitely use again! Recommend him to anyone! ERIC WAS AMAZING!
Erik did great with Archie. Sending videos, pics and staying in contact. Erik watched Archie for 10 days and I will definitely call Erik for Achie’s care next time we travel.
Erik was polite when I dropped off and picked my dog. My concerns were the following: 1) Lack of communication during the 5 day boarding stay. 2) Letting my dog sleep on his bed along with his dog when I requested that she be crated. 3) The cleanliness of the environment. 4) Gaps within the backyard fence I asked to be provided with a daily update of how my dog was doing along with a picture. Instead Erik stopped using the app to communicate and asked me to use his personal number and later an email address which he posted a picture per day with no details of her stay. He provided a video and a description on the 5th day of the stay. My dog also had slight bruising above her nose which could not be explained. Recommendations: 1) Please communicate with the dog owner and provide daily updates 2) Abide by the requirements of the dog owner to crate their dog during the night 3) My dog had a heavy stench which smelled like dirty clothing. Recommend properly sanitizing the environment where the dogs will stay. 4) Properly secure fence since it has gaps which dogs 25 lbs or less can squeeze through.
