Dog lover saving up for grad school
I specialize in high-energy dogs of any age, and quick to adapt to the dog in front of me. I am fear-free certified and a former volunteer trainer for 4 Paws for Ability where I am tasked with handling, training, and caring for a service dog in training. While I don’t have formal training credentials, I have experience and specialize in the following behaviors: - Reactivity - Nervousness/Fear - Vocalizations - Pulling - Engagement and Settling I would be happy to offer my services in the form of a dog walk or a drop-in visit!

I can easily crate, lift, and control dogs of all sizes. I have also taken many courses related to dog behavior, handling, and training which has helped me work with a variety of breeds and ages successfully.

Ericka was absolutely fantastic and took great care of our dog while we were away. She handled walks, mealtimes, and his insulin injections twice a day, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure he was comfortable and well taken care of. We would book with Ericka again in a heartbeat!!

Her ability to understand pet body language is remarkable — she notices even the most minor details and knows precisely what a pet needs to feel safe and happy. Ericka is incredibly consistent and reliable, and I’ve never once had to worry when she’s looking after my dog. She treats every animal as if they were her own, and her calm, attentive nature has made her the only person I fully trust to care for my pup. If you’re looking for someone knowledgeable and compassionate, I can promise you that Ericka is the best.

Schedule
I am a graduate working part-time in a research lab, but my hours are quite flexible! I have a dog of my own that I take on walks and play dates frequently throughout the week and daily, and would love to offer the same enrichment for your dogs!
