I work from home 2 days a week. I will walk, play, sit and snuggle, whatever is best for you and your furbaby. If you are interested in a weekend sleepover at my place, I will be home most day/night to hang out and watch the dogs have a great time together. We'll go on several walks a day, play in the school field across the street, or maybe a dog park trip, if that's ok with you.

If your dog is staying at my house, I have several rooms, baby gates, a basement, and 2 crates if there were ever an issue with the dogs, or if the dogs prefer their own space, as some do. Otherwise the dogs have run of the downstairs and basement at all times.

Things I need to know before hand: allergies, likes or dislikes car rides, house training issues (should I expect accidents?), is he/she a barker, does your pet need/like to be crated? any behavioral issues i.e. fear of thunderstorms, food aggression, anxiety, etc.? My goal is to know how I can help your pet feel most comfortable, whether with me in your house or if your pup is staying at my place.
A typical day
I live in a townhouse near downtown Naperville with a small unfenced yard and 2 dog parks within 10min drive. Walks around the neighborhood or playtime at the field across the street are staples in our schedule. My dog loves to play but is definitely a beta, so if your dog isn't up for playing, he can calm down and snuggle just the same.

I’ve loved and lived with dogs all my life and want to share that love with your dog while you’re away. I'm the proud dog-mom of a boxer/hound mix adopted (you guessed it) in 2020 during the height of covid. He LOVES other dogs and would love to have a buddy around every once in a while. I do require a meeting in-person so that a relationship is already somewhat established for both the dogs and the humans before the scheduled reservation. I’ve previously taken some basic behavioral classes, was a long-term foster, and have cared for several friends’ dogs. I am comfortable giving medications, am familiar with homeopathic treatments and veterinary services, and have some experience with behavioral issues such as separation anxiety and minor aggression.
