I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and have over 10 years experience in the animal care industry. I have worked with nervous/fearful dogs and cats and go at their pace to make them as comfortable as I can. I enjoy building relationships with animals and want to make them feel as happy and at home a I can. I can administer medications, love to spoil pets with treats, can prepare meals and feed your pets. I have experience walking with dogs from teacup Yorkshire Terriers to Irish Wolfhounds. I am happy to work with dogs who are are still working on their loose leash walking and have a lot of experience working with reactive dogs and puppies too. Hands down, Erica's knowledge and experience is well worth the investment. As a certified trainer with over 10 years of experience and a degree in psychology, her she's definitely at the top of the game when it comes to understanding animal behavior, operant conditioning, and working with the owners as well. We hired her for our Australian Shepherd puppy, and there's not a session with her when some door isn't opened for us and the dog, in understanding how to bring out the best in both of us. Hire Erica, when what you're looking for isn't just a walk, but a skilled trainer who can literally shape the future of your dog, and your future with it together.
Erica is kind, patient & most of all has a calming presence with dogs. I worked with Erica at a doggy day care & training facility. She was a dog trainer there and always went above and beyond for the dogs she was working with. Erica also trained my two dogs, one of my dogs is aggressive so I never was able to get her trained until Erica. The first session she was able to work with my dog with ease, it was a miracle & a true testament to how great she is with dogs. She always brings my dogs treats & toys and makes the experience that much better for them. Erica is a great fit if you need a dog walker, sitter or trainer, highly recommend from personal experience!!
Erica was quick to respond to our dog walking request and came bearing treats for our pups during our meet and greet. She brings robust experience from work in a regional doggie day care site. We appreciate her professionalism and expertise and nice interactions with our dogs. First walks have been great!
