*NOTE* MAKE SURE YOU ARE BOOKING WITH THE CORRECT "ERICA S." There are two of us sitters that show up with the same name in the area since Rover refuses to add our full last name on the platform. There has been a lot of confusion and accidental bookings with the wrong sitter. Also due to Rover's decision to significantly increase sitter fees on 8/1/25, I was left with no choice but to raise all my service rates, which had remained the same for many years. I pride myself on providing affordable rates and exceptional care. I apologize for any inconvenience Rover's fee increase causes you. Hi- I'm Erica Schisler! I'm a huge animal lover. I have been dog sitting for over 16 years and have owned pets for over 20 years. I have three small dogs of my own. I love volunteering and fostering dogs for local animal rescues. I currently work from home. I live in a house with a fully fenced backyard, on a dog friendly block about 3 minutes off Highway 55 at the Reavis Barrack exit. Dogs with low to moderate every levels do best in my home with my dogs. Your dog will feel comfortable and at ease in my house which includes a completely fenced-in spacious backyard. Your pup will never be left unattended outside since I am always outside with the dogs. My yard will be used for potty breaks and for playing fetch, etc. I let the dogs out 4 to 6 times a day for potty breaks. I also have a several wireless camera that allow me to keep an eye on the dogs when I have to leave home. I don’t charge extra for treats, bedtime snacks, peanut butter stuffed Kongs, one-on-one play time, cuddles, or belly rubs! I’ll treat your pup just like she’s/he’s is one of my own! I have extra food/water bowls, blankets, toys, etc. for your pup to use. I do ask that you bring your dog’s food, a non-retractable leash, a collar with ID tag, any medications, and a crate- if your dog uses one. I also encourage you to write out a detailed summary of your dog’s typical schedule, along with feeding instructions, for me to follow. I am able to watch dogs with special needs. Dogs with moderate to low energy levels do best in my home. Your dog must be dog/bird friendly, spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, as well as free from fleas/parasites and contagious diseases (i.e. kennel cough or worms). I am flexible with Pick-up and Drop-off times. In general I do not allow pick-ups or drop-offs before 7:00am or after 9:00pm unless you coordinate with me in advance. I am comfortable caring for dogs with medical issues (require medication, blind, deaf, etc.) as well as behavior issues (food aggression, separation anxiety, general anxiety, etc.). Unfortunately I am unable to accommodate any dog with any contagious illnesses/conditions- such as canine flu, kennel cough, fleas, etc. I am Pet CPR certified by PetTech. In case of emergency I can drive your dog to the vet. If you’d like to book a reservation with me I encourage you to set up a meet & greet with me and my pets!
