Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I typically work until 3:30 PM Monday–Friday, which means afternoons and evenings are all about fresh air, movement, and happy paws. I’m out for daily walks with my own dog, and I love welcoming any eager pup who’s ready to join us for their walk, sniff breaks, and tail-wagging adventures. Because walks are already part of my everyday rhythm, your dog gets consistent attention, exercise, and a calm, familiar routine they can count on. During several weeks throughout the year when I’m off, my schedule opens up even more! I’m available during the daytime for extra walks, stretch breaks, and check-ins, perfect for pups who benefit from a midday outing or a little extra movement and attention.

About Erica S.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for dogs as if they were my own, by following their routine, respecting their space, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your dog’s normal schedule for meals, walks, playtime, and rest so everything feels familiar and low-stress. I take time to read each dog’s body language and energy level, adjusting care to fit their needs—whether that’s a fun walk, quiet companionship, or a slower pace for senior pups. Safety is always a priority, and I’m mindful of doors, leashes, feeding instructions, and any special care notes. In my home, I have a dog of my own who is crate trained, and I use multiple baby gates to comfortably separate dogs when needed. This allows me to manage interactions thoughtfully and give each dog the space they need to feel secure. Safety, calm energy, and positive experiences are always my priority. I also have access to a dog park, which is great for open runs, sniff breaks, and extra enrichment for dogs who enjoy that kind of activity (always based on your preferences and your dog’s comfort level).

Information Erica S. would like to know about your pet

To make sure I can provide the safest and happiest experience for your pup, it’s important for me to know a few things ahead of time: Temperament & energy level – how your dog behaves around other dogs, people, and new environments Health & medical needs – medications, allergies, or conditions I should monitor Preferences & routines – feeding schedule, potty schedule, favorite games, and quiet times Triggers or fears – anything that might scare or stress your dog Special skills or training – commands they know, leash manners, or crate experience Social habits and quirks – how they get along with other dogs, cats, or children. Silly things that are unique to your pup! Knowing these details helps me tailor care, prevent stress, and ensure happy tails every time your pup is with me!

A typical day

I love keeping pups happy, active, and mentally stimulated! Depending on your dog’s personality and energy level, our time together can include: Walks & sniffari adventures — exploring the neighborhood or local parks for fresh smells and exercise Playtime — rough-and-tumble games, chase, or tug for energetic pups Training & enrichment — practicing commands, puzzle toys, or fun learning games Cuddle & calm time — relaxing after a busy walk or play session for pups who like to unwind Dog park fun — for dogs who enjoy safe, supervised social play and open-run sniff breaks Every activity is tailored to your dog’s energy, comfort level, and personality. My goal is happy tails, wagging paws, and a tired-but-smiling pup at the end of the day!

Pet care experience

What sets me apart is my calm, attentive approach and genuine love for dogs of all personalities. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, comfort level, and unique needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs who may need a little extra patience or structure. Whether that means reinforcing basic training, keeping a consistent routine, or moving at a slower pace, I adjust my care to what’s best for your dog. Clear communication is important to me—I’ll keep you updated with photos and check-ins so you can feel confident your dog is happy and in good hands. My goal is simple: a stress-free experience for you and a tail-wagging one for your dog. 🐾
