I have never met a dog I have not been able to befriend. I always do a meet and greet so that all parties involved feel comfortable. I also understand every dog has different needs and the meet and greet is a great way to learn how to keep your dog happy and healthy while you are away.
A typical day
I understand that some dogs can become very anxious when their owner is away. I will be sure to give your dog plenty of affection and play time during visits or overnights. Play time is not only good for developing dog's social skills and mental and physical growth, it also enhances the connection between us and is an activity we both enjoy! I am also very conscious of taking breaks throughout the day and adjusting to each dogs different needs.

Pet care experience
I currently reside with and help care for a giant loveable Bernese and an energetic 5 month old blue heeler. I have taken care of everything in between. I am comfortable handling puppies that need a lot of attention as well as older or special needs dogs that require patience and understanding. I want to help guide and influence your dog to behave in a positive way. By reinforcing your dogs desirable behaviors there is less chance that they will indulge in behaviors you don't like. I do not reinforce behaviors with force or dominance techniques. This breaks the dog's trust in me and a true bond is built on trust. I just want your dog to be happy and fulfilled while you are away!

Erica was excellent! She took such good care of our dog Ollie and our two cats! We would definitely hire her again to house sit for us.
Erica was great with our dogs. One of them injured themselves outside while she was here, and she handled it so well. Any time something is wrong with your dog hard, especially when you aren’t there yourself. I can’t thank her enough for her grace in the situation and taking care of ‘extra needs’ after.
Erica helped me out tremendously with last minute dog sitting. She stayed at my house and Earl was happy as a clam.
Erica did a wonderful job watching out two dogs while we were gone for 4 days! Thank you so much for staying at our place where they are most comfortable and hanging out with there lazy bones and giving Taro his medicine ?
