Availability
I am available to visit for a free consultation at your convenience and/or for house sitting weekdays after 5:30 and weekends any time. I have my own vehicle and am available for all kinds of sitting, whether it’s a long walk, a pee break, or full on house sitting and companionship.

Love, compassion, patience, and respect. I will treat your pets as my own. I am always respectful of personal boundaries and any safety precautions put in place. Should any situation arise, I am very calm and resolute and will call you and any necessary emergency services that are required, as well as the Rover service itself. Your pet and their safety and care always comes first, and I am happy to help around the house as needed in respect to cleanliness, changing litter, or cleaning cages.

Any special needs, noise or behavioural sensitivities, boundaries or personal space needs, dietary restrictions, sensitive areas of the body (I.e. don’t touch their back legs). Are they good with other animals or should we cross the street? Can they be off leash? I'm so excited to chat and get to know you and your fur baby!
A typical day
Stimulation is so so important! I love to walk around the city or in rural areas depending on your pet’s noise sensitivity level. If you’re comfortable, I can take them to the dog park OR a dog specific meetup (like Toronto corgi meetups). We would definitely do a lot of exploring together and play lots of fetch. Indoors, I like to use laser pointers, roll balls, play with chew/pull toys, even indoor fetch if the space allows for it, and I’ve recently discovered an app on my iPad of fish that swim around that dogs and cats love to watch. Any signs of discomfort or anxiety will be promptly noticed and calmly taken care of. Not to mention your pet(s) will be loved, scratched and cuddled all day long!

I’m Erica! I’m really looking forward to working with you and meeting your fur babies! I’m always willing to meet you and your pet(s) at no cost, before I do drop-ins or house sitting. I have grown up with EVERY kind of animal possible! Dogs, cats, lizards, chinchilla, hedgehog, hamsters, Guinea pigs… the list goes on. I've always been involved in the caring and training for the animals in my family. I have lots of experience administering medications, cleaning cages, caring for hyper animals, being very patient, cleaning accidents (the right way), and being an overall loving and compassionate companion for all animals. Whether big or small, your pet(s) will be loved and cared for with patience, compassion, and respect. My goal is to make your pet feel calm, loved, cared for, and receives all the scratches and cuddles they want.

Erica has watched my two dogs on multiple occasions for both long and short periods of time. One of my dogs has extreme aggression/behavioural issues towards other dogs as well as very specific needs due to health conditions. Erica always tends to both my dogs needs very thoroughly and with the utter most care. When my dogs are with Erica I can count on them getting the best care. Both my dogs get very excited when they see Erica, which means my dogs love her!! Highly recommend Erica if you want someone loving, caring and trusting with your fur baby.

Erica was my dog's first petsitter. My dog Cornelius is a sensitive and anxious dog, so I was a little apprehensive at first but I felt confident as soon as I met Erica. Erica took the time to get to know Cornelius and she took note of his special diet. She also told me she grew up with dogs so I felt good knowing that she has experience as a dog owner as well. I really appreciated the updates Erica sent me while I left Cornelius with her, she knew I was a little nervous about how he was doing and she sent me photos of him looking happy as can be. He always gets excited when he sees her, so five stars from Cornelius too!
