They also honor the memory of their late rescue pets, Arthur, Clancy, and Bella Baby Kitty. · The family leads an active lifestyle, and the pets thoroughly enjoy playing with toys, snuggling, patrolling the fenced yard, and romping around their private dog park. Erica & Skip have been lifelong animal lovers who grew up caring for everything from Dachshunds to horses. Their daughters have been raised with that same deep respect for animals, making pet care a true team effort driven by the joy each animal's unique personality brings. · ABOUT OUR HOME: Erica & Skip are home full-time alongside their student daughters, meaning someone with proper training is always available. The property features a 2,000-square-foot fully fenced pet area, an 850-square-foot dedicated downstairs dog space, and ample kennels. To prevent any resource guarding or fighting, all dogs are securely separated into individual rooms or kennels during feeding times until all bowls are cleared away. · ABOUT OUR HOUSE: Dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds, though resident rules can be strictly enforced if requested by the owner. The home is organized by activity level: less active dogs relax upstairs on couches or blanketed dog beds, while high-energy dogs hang out downstairs. The 850-square-foot dedicated downstairs dog area includes a 150-square-foot kennel room, a 400-square-foot tiled playroom, and a 400-square-foot rec room with three couches. Dogs sleep in pairs at night, and single crated dogs are moved into the rec room to stay with the pack. Security is a top priority with triple-gated entrances, constant supervision, and strict separation during mealtimes. · ABOUT OUR YARD: Our home features a 2,000-square-foot, triple-gated private dog park alongside a fenced front yard where visiting dogs can enjoy squirrel patrols and games of chase. To maintain a peaceful environment, guest dogs are assessed upon arrival and separated into groups based on their energy levels and temperament, ensuring that high-energy runners and low-energy sunbathers alike feel right at home. · BOARDING/DAYCARE: Erica, Skip, Elle, and Miranda provide a welcoming environment for visiting dogs that get along well with other pets, though they are highly flexible and can also accommodate home visits and playtime. While they prefer altered dogs, they are willing to discuss arrangements for younger pets that have not yet been spayed or neutered. · BOOKINGS/DROP-OFFS/PICK-UPS/MEET & GREET REQUESTS: Our hours are 8 AM to 8 PM Mon-Fri and 9 AM to 8 PM Sat-Sun. ~BOOKINGS: When requesting any bookings, please include your preferred drop-off and pick-up time ranges within the booking. Prior to finalizing, Erica will reach out to set a Meet & Greet and confirm specific drop-off and pick-up times. Bookings up to 24 hours are billed as a single night, with a complimentary 2-hour grace period included (up to 26 hours total). Extended Care: Charges begin after the 26th hour. *Up to 9.5 additional hours (2-hour grace + up to 7.5 hours): Billed at a ½-day rate. *10+ additional hours: Billed at a full-day rate. (We understand special circumstances and emergencies occur, and these can always be discussed.) · ~DROP-OFFS/PICK-UPS: Occur by **APPOINTMENT ONLY** to maintain a safe environment for all parties. Erica will reach out to set specific appointment times prior to finalizing the booking. · ~MEET & GREETS: New clients, please include preferred dates and time ranges for Meet & Greets with booking requests. Erica will reach out to set a Meet and Greet appointment based on your requested range. Meet and greets are 30-minute sessions that typically take place between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, weather permitting. Erica aims to be highly responsive, but if she is delayed while juggling multiple responsibilities, clients are welcome to send a follow-up message. · *Please note: Meet & Greets are conducted strictly in our front and back yards. Because this is a private home-boarding environment where our family lives, the interior of our home is off-limits to clients and unvetted guests. While platform sitters undergo background checks, clients do not, so we maintain this policy to protect our family's safety and privacy. Rest assured, guest dogs receive full access to our comfortable indoor spaces once their booked stay begins! · {ON THE DAY OF} SCHEDULED DROP-OFFS/PICK-UPS/MEET & GREETS (OUR HOUSE): ~Clients should text their expected arrival time (ETA) 15 minutes prior to arrival, again when they arrive, and wait outside the first gate to be greeted. ~As a safety measure and to prevent escapees, all dogs onsite are brought inside PRIOR to any arrivals or departures. This coordination will limit the time they have to be contained. ~Visiting dogs are safely introduced to the resident pack one by one in the backyard using successful, structured boundaries (no dominating behavior, no excessive barking, and respecting each other's space). · DISCOUNTS: Boarding discounts are available for repeat clients and multi-pet siblings, and pricing can be negotiated depending on your specific situation. · EXPERIENCE ADMINISTERING MEDICATION: Our family has extensive experience caring for senior pets and managing complex medical routines. We are fully confident and experienced in administering: * Oral medications (pills, capsules, liquids, and chewables) * Topical treatments (eye drops, ear drops, creams, and ointments) * Subcutaneous injections and medical treatments We maintain strict schedules and logs to ensure every dose is given accurately and on time according to your precise instructions. · [OFFSITE SERVICES] BY ERICA: DROP-INS: Erica offers flexible home drop-in visits tailored entirely to your pet's comfort and routine. To ensure a smooth visit, owners are asked to provide their apartment number, hidden key or gate/alarm access codes, a preferred time range (with priority given to puppies, kittens, seniors, and medical needs), and any miscellaneous details like parking instructions or emergency contacts. · DROP-OFFS/PICK-UPS: Pick-up and drop-off services are charged at a lower rate of $25 each way within local West Seattle. For areas outside West Seattle - including Downtown, the Airport, Burien, SoDo, Georgetown, and Capitol Hill - the rate is $50 each way. Clients can flag this request during booking, and rates can be adjusted or discussed for locations outside these zones. The booking app allows one rate, so the number plugged in is arbitrary. The final rate is determined by the distance and time between your home and Erica’s home location after a conversation with Erica. · INFORMATION NEEDED ABOUT YOUR PETS AHEAD OF TIME: Guest dogs must be completely friendly toward other dogs. The household enforces strict boundaries against aggressive or dominating behavior using verbal commands and a "no-no" water redirection bottle, separating dogs temporarily if needed. Owners must share any behavioral preferences and medical conditions, and confirm that immunizations and flea medications are entirely up-to-date to ensure a safe, fun, and healthy environment for everyone. · BOARDING/DAYCARE (A TYPICAL DAY AT OUR HOME): Guest pups spend their day playing fetch, playing tag, and patrolling for squirrels in the triple-gated dog park, or lounging on couches indoors in cozy blankets and sweaters when it's chilly. The family takes pride in being highly attentive and adaptive to each individual dog's personality and daily preferences. · YOUR DOG'S SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Sleeping setups are fully customized to match whatever your pet is accustomed to at home, whether they prefer sleeping securely inside a kennel, cozying up on a couch with a snuggle blanket, or sleeping on a dedicated dog bed on the floor. · TIME WE'LL SPEND WITH YOUR DOG: We gladly allow guest pets on our furniture and beds, though we can strictly enforce your personal home boundaries upon request. The living spaces are uniquely zoned by activity level: quiet or low-energy dogs can relax upstairs with plenty of couches and soft bedding, while active dogs utilize the downstairs area where they can participate in outdoor games and chase squirrels. To maintain a balanced and stress-free environment, we assess each dog's temperament upon arrival and group them accordingly, providing an ideal, customized setup for both high-stamina dogs and those who prefer to lounge in the sun. · [OFFSITE] DROP-INS/WALKS/HOUSE SITTING: (A TYPICAL VISIT BY ERICA) During drop-in visits, house sitting, or walks, your pet receives completely undivided attention, lots of playtime, and affection. Standard care includes cleaning up unexpected messes and following their exact routine. As an added benefit for out-of-town clients, Erica will also bring in your mail or packages and rotate random house lights on to keep your home secure.
