I'm a loving and reliable sitter!
I am a high school teacher looking to spend the summer helping dogs. :) Education: I am a graduate of Michigan State University, with a major in English and a minor in Sociology. Experience: I have always owned a dog, and have been dog-sitting from a very young age. I am very experienced with dogs, and I walk with a few a couple times a week. I have not only become so proficient in pet care from my own experience, but via my aunt, who is an experienced and established veterinarian, who is only a phone call away. I have experience with all types of dogs--from young to old, and healthy to sick, and I am always happy to help. Interest: I love all dogs and would be happy to help care for any. I am super flexible and eager to help, whether it's house-sitting, walking, dropping in, or anything else you can think of!

Erica was absolutely amazing with Boone! Before her 11-day stay in our home, she took the time to get to know him so he would feel comfortable and secure before we left. That meant so much to us, especially because Boone is a rescue who’s still figuring out his place in the world. Throughout our trip, Erica stayed in constant communication, sending frequent texts and pictures that gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious from every update that Boone was happy, loved, and well cared for. Erica is kind, trustworthy, dependable, and truly has a heart for animals. She made sure Boone felt safe and secure while we were away, and we came home to a relaxed, happy dog. She also went above and beyond in so many ways. She took our garbage out, watered our plants, stripped the bed sheets before she left—thoughtful touches that were never expected but were so appreciated after a long journey of traveling home. I highly recommend Erica to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter. We will absolutely be using her again the next time Boone needs someone to love him while we’re away!

Erica was wonderful! She stayed with our boxer for 4 nights while we were away. She checked in regularly and sent pictures to let us know how he was doing. We came home to everything in order and a very happy dog. We were very pleased with everything.
Erica stayed with my two dogs for a weekend and she did an amazing job. I always get a little nervous when I leave my dogs but Erica made sure to send lots of pics and updates and even had to deal with a little construction which made caring the girls a little more difficult. I can’t say enough good things about Erica and will definitely be using in the future!

Schedule
Currently, I am on summer break from teaching. I am available all day to provide any type of animal service -- walking, running, cuddling, etc.
