I am a lifelong animal lover and proud cat mom. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs, from my childhood Shichon to my partner’s Boxer. While I adore all pets, I’m definitely a cat person at heart. My senior cat has anxiety when I’m gone, so I know how important it is to have a trusted sitter. With a background in helper roles and a current mostly remote job, I’m excited to care for cats (and small dogs) in the Raleigh/Cary area and give them plenty of love while their humans are away.

I am offering drop-in visits! I know every pet has their own unique needs and personality, and I’ll always keep that in mind while respecting your space and routines. My own cat is not the easiest when I’m away, so I understand the importance of meeting pets where they are.

Erica is a wonderful pet sitter! She is reliable, trustworthy, and great with animals. I have two cats and have left them in Erica's care on numerous occasions over the years. My oldest has some health issues which requires medicine twice a day. As a pet owner, it can be anxiety provoking to leave this responsibility to someone else, but I never have to worry with Erica. I know she will get it done correctly, as she would with her own cat. I also appreciate the extra time she spends with them at each visit to help lessen their anxiety of being alone when I am out of town. It goes without saying, I highly recommend Erica to anyone needing top-notch pet care!

Schedule
I work from home four days a week, which gives me the flexibility to provide care not only during lunch breaks but also after 5 p.m. I am usually in the area on weekends as well.

- It’s helpful to know a few key things about your pet and home ahead of time, like their favorite activities, feeding schedule, personality, and any special needs. I’d also like to know where they may be when I arrive, where cleaning supplies are kept in case of accidents, and your contact information, including an emergency contact if I cannot reach you.
