I’m an animal lover who genuinely enjoys caring for other people’s pets, and I take a lot of pride in making sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m especially looking to do more house sitting because I really enjoy it. I know leaving your pet behind can be stressful, so my goal is to make things feel as normal as possible for them while you’re gone. I’ll keep up with their usual routines, give them plenty of attention and companionship, and take care of your home as if it were my own. I also know the last thing anyone wants after travelling is to come home to a mess, so I’m happy to leave things tidy and cared for. I’m currently taking some time away from work, which means my schedule is very flexible. I can accommodate different routines and timeframes and am happy to work around what your pet is used to. I’ve grown up around dogs and have cared for my own senior greyhound, so I understand that every dog has their own personality, quirks, routines, and comfort level. My days can include hikes, neighbourhood walks, beach time, games of fetch, or simply hanging out on the couch getting spoiled with attention. I’m equally happy with an adventure dog or a professional couch potato. I’m also beginning to offer boarding in my home and daytime doggy daycare. Because I’m renting, I can accommodate one dog at a time in my home for up to two weeks. For dogs who are happier in their own space, I’m more than happy to care for them in your home instead. As a little thank-you, I like to leave every client with a small treat or goodie when they return. I really appreciate being trusted with someone’s pet, and I like to show it. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I do have a back injury, so I’m not the right fit for dogs who are strong leash pullers or who become difficult to safely manage around other dogs. If your dog has these tendencies, I’d rather be upfront about it so we can make sure they’re in the right hands. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in, a full house sit, a weekend away, or simply someone to keep them company during the day, I’m happy to help.❤️

Erica is amazing! She watched my brand new puppy for a couple hours while I had to go out and even brought him some little presents. She is so sweet and loving with pups, definitely recommend her to watch your babies!

Erica was a wonderful home and pet sitter. We came home to a very happy cat, and we can tell, as I'm sure every pet owner reading this knows. Not only that, but Erica kept us updated with lots of pictures. The pictures were of all the activities we had requested, and it gave us huge peace of mind on our travels, knowing that our cat was in good hands. We also came home to a tidy home! It's very clear that Erica cares about what she does. Very professional, and lots of empathy for animals and their kooky owners. Cat whisperer!
Erica was awesome looking after my 2 cats. My first experience with Rover and it was great! She sent me pics of the cats and kept me informed of how they were doing. My senior cat needed medications which was not a problem to be carried out :)
Erica was awesome with our Labradoodle and rescue dog (mini dashhound). Sent us pictures and updates. I would recommend her and use her again.

Schedule
I’m currently taking some time away from work, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to accommodate different routines, schedules, and timeframes and can often be available during the day as well as evenings and weekends. I’m especially interested in house sitting, where I can spend more time with your pet and keep their normal routine while you’re away.

Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or yours, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. In my home, I can accommodate one dog at a time for up to two weeks. Since I’m renting, I’m careful about keeping things clean and respectful of the space. I’m also happy to provide daycare during the day. For house sitting, I’m very comfortable staying in your home and treating it with the same care and respect I would my own. I’ll follow your house rules, keep things tidy, make sure doors and gates are secure, and keep you updated while you’re away. I’m also happy to water plants, bring in mail, take out garbage, or handle other small things that make coming home a little easier. Before any booking, I like to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, walking habits, and any quirks or triggers so I know exactly how to care for them.
A typical day
A typical day depends entirely on the dog. Some pups want an adventure, while others would happily spend eight hours supervising me from the couch. For active dogs, my days might include a hike through Scenic Canyon, a neighbourhood stroll, beach time, games of fetch, or some playtime in the yard. For dogs who prefer a slower pace, we can keep things relaxed with shorter walks, enrichment, naps, and lots of company. I’m a big believer in letting pets be themselves and following the routine they’re already comfortable with. And yes, I am absolutely the person who will end up sitting on the floor giving your dog attention when there is perfectly good furniture available.

- Because of a back injury, I need to be mindful of dogs who are very strong leash pullers or who are difficult to safely manage around other dogs. If your dog is reactive, extremely excitable on walks, or has a history of pulling hard on the leash, I may not be the best fit. I’d rather be upfront about that from the beginning so your pup gets the safest and most comfortable care possible. I’m always happy to chat about your dog’s individual needs before booking. ❤️
