I'm currently in school full-time, but have some afternoons as well as evenings and weekends available to help with pet visits and pet care. I will be happy to be flexible with my schedule as possible to accommodate your pet care needs!

I love to play with pets, encouraging movement and both physical/mental stimulation. I have lots of experience playing with dogs and cats and generally feel very comfortable doing those activities in an engaging and fun way for the animals. I also love walking and have a great time helping dogs get out and about, experience the wonderful smells of the world, and then get home safely for another nap. I understand that pets can be very different in how quickly they want to get to know a new person, so I try to be adaptable based on whether a dog is anxious, excitable, etc.

I grew up with a family dog and have so many wonderful memories of helping care for her as well as many other dogs of friends and family. I love providing pet care because I get to fully focus my attention on the pets, which can often be more difficult to do in other settings when other humans are involved. I love to try and give the pets I'm caring for whatever they need during my sessions with them, whether that be walking/playing or getting lots of pets and back scratches in. My wife has been a Rover sitter for 7+ years and I've accompanied her on quite a few visits as well -- we are both great pet people and love to love pets however our clients want that to happen :)

Eric is a great person and one of the best pet sitters I’ve ever had. My dog and cats loved him. He is very gentle & caring. My pets warmed up to him very quickly. He did a wonderful job caring for my senior dog and young cats. I went on a business trip for several days and was concerned about leaving my senior dog at home with the cats but Eric did a wonderful job. So I came back to a happy, wagging tale. Eric was on time for the visits, took the time to play with the cats, give them love and attention, and sent me detailed notes with lots of pictures. He even reported on how they were eating their food! I’m so glad I found Eric and I can trust him with my pets whenever I need!
I can’t recommend Eric highly enough! He took care of my highly reactive dog and my two cats with so much thought and care. For safety, he thoughtfully kept the dog and cats separated when needed, and still made sure everyone felt loved and comfortable. He respected our routines and ensured all three of my girls got the time and attention they deserved. With my pup, he did an amazing job redirecting her attention and keeping her engaged — encouraging changes in direction, playing with her, and even jogging to help her navigate the environment confidently. Thanks to him, she had successful and positive on-leash experiences during their walks! Though I no longer have my dog, he continues to be someone my cats absolutely adore — even my highly reserved, shy cat who only comes out for a handful of people! He’s fun, playful, attentive, and truly a favorite of all my girls. I trust him completely and am so grateful for the way he cares for them.
Eric is great with cats and dogs alike and has many years of experience caring for both. He is incredibly loving and playful and is great at making sure cats and dogs are having fun and being mentally stimulated even when their owners are away. He is responsible and communicative and will take great care of your pet!
