I am new to Rover; however, I have a deep and personal understanding of dogs with behavioral challenges, stemming from my experience rescuing and rehabilitating a sheltered dog with reactive and fearful tendencies. This journey taught me valuable insights into working with dogs that require patience, compassion, and specialized care.

Caring for pets in their own homes is all about maintaining a sense of familiarity and routine for the animals. I follow the owners instructions closely to replicate the pets regular routines as closely as possible. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or administering medication, I ensure that every aspect of their care is handled with attention and love. I spend quality time engaging with pets, addressing their individual needs and making sure they feel comfortable and secure in their familiar surroundings.

This was my first time using Eric and he is great! He gives a detailed overview each visit, including photos. Would def recommend!
Eric was great! He communicated very well, and I knew my dog was in good hands. I’m sure my dog loved having someone around day and night.

Eric is absolutely wonderful. My little guy loves when he gets a walk with him. Very reliable, friendly and great communication.
Our Rita girl is a nervous girl and a bit dog reactive so I always get nervous to leave her with someone. When we had a meet and greet with Eric, he asked really thoughtful questions and knew some dogs in our building and really put me at ease. He stayed with Rita for a quick weekend and sent updates and pictures throughout the day and was always very responsive. He left our place so clean it was like no one was even there - so thoughtful! Would love for Eric to stay with Rita again!

Schedule
My unique work situation affords me an extra advantage - I spend significant time in the neighborhood throughout the week. This not only allows me to be readily available for walks but also enables me to provide a strong sense of familiarity and routine for the dogs I work with. I’m not just a dog walker who drops by - I’m a neighbor and a friend. Someone who understands the local environment and can tailor each walk to the specific needs of the dog and the neighborhood.
