Information Eric P. would like to know about your pet

I like meet and greets before any stays. It’s good for the dog as some familiarity later in service and any special needs identified.

A typical day

I’m up early and usually have a morning potty walk with breakfast before or after depending on habits. Then a longer mid morning walk followed by some yard play. Then a n afternoon walk followed by dinner, again depending on dog’s habits. A late evening walk finishes up the day.

Pet care experience

I've been taking care of pets for over 40 years. I grew up with a small Beagle mix + Dalmation, and most recently a large Chesapeake Bay Retriever who lived well into his teens. I've also cared for cats + birds. I live on a beautiful lakefront property with a big yard which is a great spot for water dogs. I'm very active and love to take dogs on long walks. No other pets in my home. Experience administering medicine and caring for both puppies and senior dogs.

Rick has been an absolute PLEASURE to my fur baby and our family! I shared my concerns with boarding following my fur baby’s recent attack and Rick offered a meet and greet to ensure both my pet and I were comfortable with him and his environment. My fur baby was a bit hesitant at first but warmed up to Rick rather quickly. During my fur baby’s stay, Rick communicated with me often, sent pics and videos and even allowed me to FaceTime!!! My Bella was well taken care of during her time with Rick and it was evident she had a GREAT time! Rick has a very calm and nurturing demeanor and you can tell it’s genuine. I have already recommended Rick to a friend and plan to not only use him again in the near future but make him a long term option for my pet. Thanks Rick!

I feel I hit the jackpot when I trusted Eric with dog sitting my Yellow Labrador, Maisie! Eric is knowledgeable and responsible, as he is an experienced dog owner. At the same time, he is very kind and caring and goes above and beyond with making your pet feel comfortable and secure. No problem with letting Maisie take over his couch! Eric provides you with daily reports, pictures, videos and whatever else you may need for reassurance that your pet is in good hands. I have no doubt anyone would be pleased with the care Eric provides for whatever service you are seeking. His genuine TLC and love for pets makes Eric an excellent choice and you won't be disappointed. Maisie and I couldn't be happier. (I should clarify that I used the dog sitting service, not the house sitting service.)
