Hi, I'm Eric! Along with my husband, I provide loving and dedicated pet care in the Jefferson Park area of Chicago, right on the way to the O'hare airport. With several years of animal experience, I have a deep passion for animals and understand that our pets are family. My home is a very a spacious environment with a fenced yard that's perfect for daily exercise and puppy playtime. I am also a proud pet parent to Harvey, a Golden Retriever and Miguel, my Tabby Cat. When your pet is in my care, I take my responsibility seriously, providing regular updates and photos to keep you connected with your furry friend while you're away. Whether it's for a day, a weekend, or longer, I am here to ensure your pet has a safe, fun, and loving experience. I look forward to welcoming your pet into my home and treating them like one of my own!

Eric was great at communicating and our dog came home a happy guy. I appreciated that he asked so many questions about our dog so that he knew exactly what to do. I would definitely recommend Eric.
Eric was great! We planned a last minute trip and Eric was very flexible and able to take on the job with almost no notice. Communication was great with regular updates. He took great care of our dog! We will definitely use Eric again in the future.
We are so grateful we found Eric to watch our dog Sammy! He was so great at sending pictures and updates, it made us feel so much better about being away and Sammy had so much fun playing with Harvey!! We will definitely be reaching out to Eric in the future

Schedule
Outside of my full-time career, I am a dedicated pet care professional, committed to ensuring that every pet receives the same love and attention as my own. I am fortunate to work remotely, with in-office days required only during the last week of each month. My husband, who works nights, and I coordinate our schedules to ensure that there is almost always someone available to care for your pup, beyond managing our own needs.

My husband and I own a house in Jefferson Park that has lots of space for roaming and a nice, fenced-in backyard to play in and potty securely. I make sure that each pup has their own safe space to eat, sleep, and unwind. When I'm present, I'll make sure your fur baby has my full attention and will care for all of their needs. While away, I'll make sure they're in a safe and comfortable space with access to food, water, toys, and their preferred bedding area. For walks, I always take care to keep the dog leashed and only interact with others if it's within the pet parent's wishes.
Pets
A typical day
I will adhere to the provided care instructions. However, an expected potty break schedule is in the morning, mid-afternoon, evening, and before bedtime. The feeding schedule typically a feeding once in the morning and once in the evening. Weather permitting, I will take your dog on thorough walks through the neighborhood to provide ample exercise and tire them out. Additionally, my fenced-in backyard offers a perfect space for playtime, and your dog will always have a companion in Harvey. I will send daily pictures and updates (or more frequently if requested or if they are being particularly cute) to keep you informed and reassured that your pet is receiving excellent care. Jefferson Park is a lovely, quiet spot, and it's a quick walk or drive to several spacious parks, making it a true paradise for dogs!
