Hi! I’m a dedicated and experienced dog lover based in Edgewood NE DC, offering a safe, comfortable, and fun home for your pup while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so your dog will never be left alone during the day and will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. I have a fully fenced in backyard where dogs can safely play, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. I also live near several great walking spots, including the Metro Branch Trail, which is perfect for longer walks and exercise. I grew up with dogs and have years of experience caring for them, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of playtime, exercise, and affection, while also sticking to their routine for feeding, medication, and any special needs. My neighborhood is quiet and relaxed, creating a low-stress environment for your dog to feel at home. Above all, I’ll treat your dog like my own with love, patience, and lots of attention, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

Eric was great with Lila! He sent daily updates and photos, was very attentive, and even flagged some excessive eye watering and discharge after she’d recently had an eye issue. He also arranged playdates with neighborhood puppies and gave her plenty of time to run around and play. Lila had a great time, and I’d definitely recommend Eric!
Eric was amazing with our senior pup. He sent regular updates and really took great care of her!
Eric was great! Drop off was really easy and accommodating, and he was really attentive to different things and quirks of my pup, his place is wonderful for dogs. I got updates the whole time and I knew my dog was have a great time there!
We had a wonderful experience with Eric as our dog sitter. He was attentive, caring, and clearly loves animals, our dog was happy and well looked after the entire time. He kept us updated and gave our pup all the attention she needed. We’d absolutely book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dedicated sitter.
Cannot say enough good things about Eric! He took amazing care of our 10 year old cattle dog who definitely alternates between high energy and very long naps. She can take awhile to warm up and settle in with new people but Eric was so good with her, you can tell he really loves dogs. He sent wonderful updates with photos and clearly took such good care of our girl.

Schedule
I work from home full time so your dog will have someone in the home with them. I am able to give them potty breaks, walks, medicine, and food throughout the day as needed.

A typical day
I love to be outside in the yard. It’s large enough to throw around a ball or lounge in the grass. A cuddle on the couch is always welcomed too. The neighborhood is quiet and calm so long walks are peaceful.
