Growing up in rural Iowa on over 40 acres of land, I started taking care of and training animals of all sizes (from puppies to horses) from a very young age. Through my experience of caring for them, I developed a strong connection and love for all animals, and wanted to turn my passion into something that can help others. The Marine Corps brought me to sunny California, and I decided to stay out here after my contract ended. Now, as a transitioning veteran, I want to use my skills and passion to help those around me, and decided to do that through providing extra love and care to animals. I started volunteering with numerous animal rescues around the area as a foster parent, and the love I felt for every animal under my care made me want to pursue more work as an animal caretaker. With a grandfather as an ethical Australian Cattle Dog breeder in Iowa, I learned the importance of forming a bond through love and care for my canine companions at a very young age and have had exposure to a large variety of caretaking duties (such as obedience training, potty training, crate training, socialization, behavioral issues, elderly dog care, pregnant dogs, new litters, puppies, administering oral and injected medication, administering vaccinations, and more)! My home, which maintains a consistent indoor temperature with air conditioning, currently has 2 extremely friendly and socialized pups, along with a large 8,000 sqft. backyard for them to roam around and explore with their puppy pals and canine companions! The flooring is all hard flooring with no carpeting, and there is plenty of room for the pups to play with one another indoors as well! I usually take them to the dog park and dog beach a few times a week with walks multiple times a day. Each room features a waterfall drinking fountain with a filtration system to keep the water nice and clean, and is constantly refilled. Of course, my main priority is making sure your pup is safe, happy, and heathy, and I will be more than happy to provide updates whenever asked (although there’s no need to ask, because I’m extremely communicative and will do what I can to keep you automatically updated as often as possible) with pictures and videos throughout your fur baby’s visit with us!
