Each pet is different, so I try to provide care best suited for them. I have one client whose dog tends to run in circles and will only accept pets from me if he’s on leash or if I’m lying down. Knowing the particulars ahead of time is crucial to providing a safe and fun environment for your pet.

Again, I like to replicate the animal’s schedule as much as possible. I’ve got a great arm and have played ultimate frisbee, so fetch and catch are always some of my favorites.

I volunteered at a local no-kill shelter for 5 years and miss my time there. Working with the bigger dogs was so much fun as they needed as much exercise as they could get, but I love all dogs. I also grew up with cats; my family had at least 2-4 indoor outdoor cats at any one point in time.

Erik is such a great communicator and super responsible. Our puppy just loved cuddling and playing with him and she’s already looking forward to our next night out so Erik can come back!
Eric was everything I wanted a pet sitter to be, and more. My 2 dogs had never been taken care of by anyone other than family members. Needless to say, I was nervous about using anyone from Rover. Eric clearly my vocal and sometimes needy dogs at ease. He not only followed instructions left re: feeding and general care, but also provided updates and photos to put me at ease. Very thankful to have found a great resource to allow for greater flexibilty when traveling without my dear friends along. Great job, Eric!
Erik has been our go-to petsitter for quite some time now, and he’s consistently done an incredible job with our three dogs and two cats. It’s never easy finding someone who can handle a full house like ours, but Erik manages the different personalities and needs of all five animals with total ease. Whether it’s keeping up with the dogs’ energy or making sure the cats are comfortable and fed, he’s always reliable and attentive. What we appreciate most is the peace of mind he gives us whenever we’re away. He’s professional, communicative, and clearly has a genuine bond with our pets. They’re always calm and well-cared for when we return, which speaks volumes about the environment he creates for them. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy who’ll treat your animals like his own, we can’t recommend Erik highly enough. He’s truly the best!
