IN PALM SPRINGS NOVEMBER – APRIL We lost our last little guy in 2024. It’s the first time in 35+ years without at least one dog under the same roof, and it has felt like something essential is missing. I have such a love for dogs, and would love to pass that on to yours while you have to be away from them. That’s my main reason for being a Rover Sitter. I’m retired so your dog(s) will get my full attention. Your dog(s) will get constant care, love, playtime and exercise. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having a walking buddy to join me. When inside, they'll continue to get a lot of attention and affection whether playing games, or just chilling out. If you've got a senior, I am very experienced in their care, whether simple TLC, boosts when standing, meds, multiple bathroom breaks, etc. All of our dogs were allowed on the furniture, and slept on/in the bed with us; I respect and will follow your rules though. For those who like to sleep in their own "den," I also have experience with crate training. I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet before the first visit to make sure everyone’s comfortable -- both canine and human. Photos and updates are happily available while you're away.

Eric is a very personable dog lover with a secure yard. He took wonderful l care of my 14+ dog while I spent the day at Indian Wells. Pictures and report were much appreciated, and I loved seeing her chilling out happily throughout the day.

Eric is the best dog sitter ever! You might find one or two others who are as good, but you certainly won’t find any who are better. He’s very easy to coordinate with, always pleasant, always on time, and your dog will be very happy each time he shows up at the door. We’re in a vacation rental for a couple of months, and we’ve hired him six times now to sit with our pup in the evenings while we go out. He’s made the whole experience very comfortable for us!
Eric and his partner truly are the Mary Poppins of dog sitters. They gave so much love to my pup, I can’t say enough good things about their service including A+++ communication and flexibility. I will use them anytime I’m in Palm Springs.

I am retired and have a flexible schedule throughout the day. I can sit with your dog(s) at any day of the week and/or weekend.

A typical day
My typical mornings start around 7am. I usually walk for my own exercise in the later morning, so would include your dog, with your permission.
