Active, Remote-Working Dog Lover
In 2024/5 we spent over 7 months sitting dogs in the UK and Europe through TrustedHousesitters. On that platform, our reviews are all 5-star and every pet owner has offered for us to return, which we have done in 67% of households. Our sits have ranged from 10 days to 3 months, which has been enough time to really bond with each animal. Even dogs that were initially aggressive or reactive loved us by the end of our time together. We are active and have good manners with new dogs. We will keep your dog engaged and well looked after.

I will play with your dog and show them plenty of affection. We are stern when it comes to rules and will maintain clear boundaries. Your training will not be undone by us. We are clean and quiet and attentive.

Eric and Hannah Louise were wonderful caretakers of our Frenchton, Willis. They were very professional and the house and Willis were in perfect shape when we returned. They played with him and walked him everyday and sent pictures and videos. We were truly thankful that it was these two pet lovers that looked after our dog. Eric and Louise were awesome! Finn was so excited to meet them and they were great with him right away and handled his high energy well. They took him on a long walk and played with him at home so he was happy and tired when we got home. We will definitely reach out again!
Eric and Louise took care of our two dogs for 2 weeks while we were out of country. Our elderly dog proved to be much more work than anticipated and Eric and Louise took incredible care of her, along with our younger energetic dog. Our senior dog had frequent incontinence issues resulting in extensive cleaning demands, and dog bathing! I am incredibly grateful for their care, especially in light of my dog's high needs. Would highly recommend Eric and Louise.
Eric and Louise (aka Hannah) were wonderful! Their communication was great and they clearly both love animals. I am so grateful they were able to help me out when my dog sitter backed out last minute. They left my place spotless and both of my dogs tired and happy. I will definitely book with them again.
Eric and Louise are fantastic. They walked our 2 dogs for a few consecutive days, in preparation for a longer housesit in a couple weeks. Our 2 dogs are very different ages and have very different energies. I appreciated Eric's demeanour with the dogs during the initial meeting. Very calm yet assertive. He also asked great questions and comes across and responsible and caring. Thanks Eric and Louise! We came home to happy relaxed dogs each day.
Eric & Louise were very kind and attentive sitters! We had a meet and greet before hand which showed me they were communicative and respectful. They sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell Luna was in good hands. Thank you both and hopefully we will see you again!

Schedule
I work remotely and live with my wife while she finishes her degree. My schedule is flexible and I am available to care for your dog around the clock. I have a guaranteed meeting from 9:30 to 10:00, and then my day is typically my own to schedule, barring other irregular work meetings throughout the week.

- Leash reactivity is important to know about in larger breeds especially. Louise has a chronic shoulder injury, so a big, reactive dog will quickly become my responsibility to walk. We want to deliver the best care we can and that often means sharing the responsibility. Accordingly, we prefer to avoid sits where one individual will shoulder most of the responsibility.
