Pet care is my full time job, though I work part-time for the Los Angeles Public Library, so sometimes I am away from the guests. My husband is my paw-tner in crime and he helps me entertain the pooches, usually lounging on the couch or the bed or taking them for an evening walk.

My care style is pretty easygoing as I like to do whatever the guests like to do. That’s usually lounging around the backyard while I work at my desk or get some exercise in. Sometimes they watch me do laundry. Sometimes a ball gets tossed, sometimes we go for walks. The only thing I try not to do is dole out snacks, except the occasional cabbage or watermelon rind. They hate it when I look at my phone for too long.

A typical day
The guests usually wake me at the buttcrack of dawn and we go for a walk and then they get breakfast. Usually after that it's time for a nap but some of the little furballs want to play some ball or explore the yard where I keep an eye on them and I do some work whether house choirs or office work at home.

I'll Be Your Pup's Best Friend
Pet care experience
Because we care for pooches of all sizes, your furry friend should be well-tempered to handle socializing with both small and large doggos. If that sounds like your pet, we’d be happy to meet you, and even if that’s not your pet, well, I still love to meet them! We have a big back and front yard secured with a double fence with easy access to Bellevue Park which is literally behind the property.
Reviews

Eric was great with my Shiloh! Shiloh is still new to me, as I adopted him just 7 weeks ago. I was nervous about placing him in another new setting, but he did great, and it's due to Eric's care and the comfortable, fun environment he's created. Thank you Eric!
Eric was very easy to work with and flexible in the hours we asked him to watch Nellie. He provided a short meet and greet time the day prior so Nellie was very comfortable going to stay with him the next day. Eric was sensitive to Nellie's 'people person' needs and spent a lot of time with her just hanging out. He also had 2 other dogs there at the time and Nellie enjoyed playing with them. I would recommend Eric to anyone in the area who needs a dog-sitter.

Eric was great with Derby! I got plenty of photos and a video, and Derby loved exploring the open backyard — he had so much room to wander and sniff around. Really appreciated how well Eric connected with him. Would book again!

Eric took great care of my dog and I highly recommend! My dog can be anxious in new situations but he did great on his first overnight stay with Eric. The set up at Eric's place is ideal as the dogs have access to play in a big yard or go inside to chill and nap. I received lots of updates and photos during his stay. We will definitely be staying with Eric again!
