I would say, the dogs temperament, how well they walk on the leash, if they can greet other dogs, if people can pet the dog, and how much they weigh. I’ve walked several dogs that do not walk well on the leash, but I would like to at least know ahead of time. I am allergic to cats, so I’d like to know about those ahead of time too so I can take allergy medicine.
A typical day
We can just stay home where they find comfort and go for walks in your neighborhood. We can go where ever you’d like us to go or we can just go wherever is closest.

Hi! I’m Eric. I work full time in child welfare, and in my free time, I care for dogs because I truly enjoy it. Pets deserve the same level of attention, trust, and consistency as people do, and that’s the standard I bring to every visit. I’ve lived with and cared for dogs most of my life. My rescue dog, Avery, was with me for 10 wonderful years. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Whether they’re hyper, laid back, anxious, or affectionate, I know how to read their behavior and respond with calm, confident care. When I care for your pets, I focus on providing a safe, relaxed, and fun experience. Whether your dog needs structure, play, or just company, I’ll be present and tuned in. I’m not rushing through visits. I treat your home and your pets with the same care I would give my own. You’ll receive clear communication, photo updates, and peace of mind while you’re away. I’m also a photographer, so if you’d like portraits of your pet while you’re gone, feel free to ask. I’m usually available on weekends and take a limited number of clients so I can give each pet my full attention.
