Currently do not have my own dog, but when booked, dog watch is definitely prioritized for my schedule. I have availability only when I have no conflicting/concurrent work or social plans so the time will be committed to furry friend(s).

I will be more or less with the dog(s) at all times (barring to go outside to pickup food, etc.). Schedule will be cleared to minimize any personal item and prioritize the time spent watching over and playing with the dog (s).

Any health issues and personal characteristics/quirks (for example scared of sirens, leash aggression, or has anxiety towards other dogs, people, etc.). No specific breed preferences.
A typical day
Depending on dog and temperament, we can have a nice chill time hanging out together or if more energetic or playful, time can be spent outdoors going on a long walk, playing with toys indoors, or other engagement/playing with the dog. If boarded, we can play a little in the small back yard space with rope tug toy, ball, etc.

Pet care experience
Responsible, working professional currently residing in Santa Monica and work in the nearby area. I love caring for dogs and the plan is to get one (or more) of my own in the near future, but unsure when exactly that is, so in the meantime looking to find opportunities to meet and play with new dog friends during my spare time. Since 2015 onwards, I've had experience living with roommates with dog(s), dogsitting for friends and brother at their residences or boarding their dog while they've been away, and dog hosting and house/dog sitting for multiple dog owners here on Rover. Currently looking to dogsit at your residence, do drop in visits, or offer dog walks and am open to boarding at mine at this time (ability to board is a little more particular but can be possible). Usually, barring any predetermined plan, I am free weekdays after 4PM and more consistently free Friday night to Sunday night. During that time, I will be with the dog the majority/all of the time, depending on service/preference you and your dog(s) prefer.

Eric was reliable and attentive. He carefully followed all care instructions especially being careful of where to keep things because our dog is king of thievery! Communication was great throughout the stay, and I received updates through pictures. I returned to a to our hotel with a relaxed, happy dog. I highly recommend him! He made my Santa Monica and LA experience a great one because I was able to explore it without worrying about my dog.

Eric frequently dog sits for me and is extremely compassionate and loving. He's very attentive and cares deeply for Stella (my little puppy) and would regularly send me updates. What impressed me the most was his attention to detail to make sure he was giving Stella all the right food and remembering her favorite parks. He also brings Stella a new toy every time he comes so she's his biggest fan. I would highly recommend Eric to dog sit for anyone.
