Availability
I currently work remotely and have quite a lot of flexibility to conduct dog-walks and dog-sitting. If time and interest allows, I can bring a dog with me to a pet-friendly office (guaranteed they will get a ton of pets and treats), or take them 30-90 minute walks during the day, or longer after work hours in the late afternoon or evening. I have a reliable car and extensive knowledge of the wonderful trails here!

Safety, trust & environment
I am unable to host dogs but more than able to dog sit in a clients house. I thrive with open communication and clear instructions, and with any client and canine will build rapport and trust before dog sitting to learn their unique quirks, routines, and get to know one another.
Information Eric D. would like to know about your pet
I want every walk to be safe and fun, so it helps to know if your pup has any special needs — like medications, reactivity to other dogs, favorite walking pace, or quirks that make them unique. The more I know, the better I can make their walk feel just like home!
A typical day
Your pup will enjoy a walk that matches their pace — from playful adventures to relaxed sniff sessions. Afterward, I’ll make sure they’re comfy with fresh water, a little love, and a photo update just for you!

Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Eric, I'm a dog-lover with over 10 years of experience caring for our canine friends. I recently lost my 5 y/o rescue dog named Neve (pictured) to a sudden unexpected illness, so I am looking to continue to have canine companions in my life and look forward to treating your dog like they were my own. I have a wide range of experiences with dogs, ranging from growing up and training working dogs (German Shepherds) to working as a dogsled guide. I am skilled in dog training (both balanced and positive training), as well as mental stimulation. I understand each dog's unique needs and quirks, including their routines, medications, and favorite activities. I love to go on dog walks, runs, and play a mean game of fetch – and look forward to building a relationship with your canine companion. I am available for dogwalks / runs and pet-sitting.
Reviews
We have known Eric for quite some time - he has been wonderful with our dogs! He is always caring and conscientious, and he has great people and "dog" communication skills.
Eric is a fantastic pet sitter and dog walker. He's a responsible and caring dog owner who has been amazing at looking after our German Shepherd. Although our dog was slightly reactive as a pup, Eric has been great at understanding and being a great leader for our dog. It is clear he genuinely loves our dog and has taken great care of her. He is reliable, responsible and attentive. We completely trust him and would highly recommend !
Friendly, responsible, excellent with dogs of all breeds. He will ensure your pet has a great day out for a walk, maybe learn a thing or two, and return happy and well-exercised!
Eric has watched my dog many times over the past 5 years. She struggles with some leash aggression and Eric is very attuned to her behavior and knows how to train and distract her while one walks. Eric is reliable and hard working, I would trust him with any of my future dogs.
