My passion for caring for animals began during my college years when I welcomed my very first dog into my life. While I may have been a latecomer to the world of pet ownership, it didn't take long for me to become utterly enamored with the joys of being a pet parent. Over the years, I've had the privilege of providing a loving home to several rescue dogs and have raised a cherished furry companion of my own. What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep-rooted commitment to ensuring every pet in my care experiences the utmost comfort and happiness. I've honed my skills in various aspects of pet care, including puppy training and senior pet care. My experience with puppies has given me the patience and understanding required to help them develop into well-behaved and happy dogs. Simultaneously, I've cared for senior pets with special needs, understanding the importance of tailored attention, medication management, and gentle companionship during their golden years. Rest assured that your furry friend will be welcomed into a loving, pet-centric environment where their well-being is my top priority. When caring for pets, whether it's in my home or a client's home, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. The specific care approach can vary depending on the service provided, as well as the individual needs and preferences of the pet and their owner. In my home: Safe and Welcoming Environment: I strive to ensure that our home is pet-friendly and free from any hazards. This includes securing any potentially harmful items out of reach and creating a comfortable space for pets to relax. This includes your pets bed and anything they use at home to relax and feel safe. Outdoor Supervision: If I'm looking after pets with good recall in my yard, I maintain a watchful eye while they explore. My property is partially fenced, and I take advantage of any secure areas to let them play safely. Additionally, I use an electronic perimeter if necessary to provide a secure boundary. Regular Exercise and Play: I believe in the importance of exercise and playtime, and I provide opportunities for pets to run, play, and stretch their legs in a secure environment. Feeding and Medication: I adhere to the pet's regular feeding schedule and administer any necessary medications. I'm meticulous in ensuring they receive the proper nutrition and care..
