As a remote college student caring for pets through Rover, my day begins early in the morning as I wake up to the wagging tails and excited meows of my furry guests. After a hearty breakfast, we head out to one of the spacious yards for some playtime and potty breaks, making sure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. Throughout the day, I maintain a structured schedule, taking the pets for potty breaks every two hours to ensure their comfort and well-being. In the afternoon, we retreat to their designated cozy room where they can relax, nap, or play with their favorite toys. Being a remote college student allows me to provide constant companionship and attention to the pets, as I work on my studies while they lounge nearby. During breaks between classes, I make sure to engage with them, offering cuddles and treats to keep their spirits high. In the evening, we head out for another fun-filled playtime session in one of the yards, followed by a delicious dinner. As the day winds down, I ensure they have a comfortable and safe sleeping space, where they can rest soundly after a day full of excitement and care.

I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and personalities — from tiny seniors who need a gentle routine to big, goofy pups who love adventure. I grew up around animals, have volunteered with local shelters, and have years of hands-on experience with everything from daily walks to administering medication and helping with special needs pets. Happy that they were able to watch my dog last minute while I was out of the country! But my dog bed and food bag came back ripped and my puppy was filthy. I didn’t get many updates unless I asked which made me feel a little lost on how he was doing. Overall just glad my dog had a place to stay.
Leaving Rascal our beloved dog of 13 years was reallt tough but having Eric B there to be his daily companion was so very helpful and the daily pictures were so comforting. I don't think Rascal missed us. I think he misses his friend Eric B. Eric B went above and beyond notifying us of postal deliveries, notified us when our trash disposal team came and gone. What a pleaseure it was communicating with Eric. He never missed a beat. Thank you thank you and thank you Eric B.
Eric was a great sitter and I couldn’t of asked for better! He was so accommodating with my schedule and was very attentive to my pup. He sent updates via pics and videos which made me feel great to see my little guy! He took him everyday to his favorite dog park and let him cuddle with him at night. Thanks eric!
