I currently work full-time from home in IT and love taking frequent breaks to walk or sit on my patio to get away from my computer screen. I'm a single mom and we spend our weekends walking through the neighborhood and socializing with friends.

For my kitty friends we have cat trees and enclosed spaces for them to get cozy and relaxed. For my doggy friends, my complex offers an enclosed dog area for free play and interaction with other dogs as well as nearby dog parks. All pets are welcomed on soft surfaces!

Treats, food and sleep preferences are a huge part of helping your pet feel at home away from home. I am happy to provide what I have or use whatever you'd like to provide during their stay. A good idea of allergies and habits will prepare me for your fur-bies so that I may care for them to the best of my ability.
A typical day
My son loves to play hide and seek, teach pets how to use talk buttons, use sniffs pads with treats, practice and teach new tricks they know to reinforce the use of them at home. We also love to snuggle!

Pet care experience
I've taken care of pets since I was able to walk. My mom ethically bred Rottweilers and provided feral cat colonies socialization and food in Brooklyn since I was a kid. Growing up I worked in animal shelters to help breeds that were discriminated against to socialize them so that they can go to their fur-ever homes until after college. I fostered several cats while living in NY and have fostered and taken care of friends and family's pets since moving to Allentown. I like to provide the best environment to reduce stress and promote fun and healthy environments for all fur-babies who come through my home. I have extra toys, bowls, beds, and an extra large crate for those who are crate trained.

Equasia is a beautiful person with a kind and generous soul. I was in a bind, looking for someone to watch my cat Leonidas, who has diabetes this past holiday weekend. I was going for knee surgery the Monday after the holiday and needed a safe place for him to stay. Equasia was willing and able to watch him, being ok with giving him his medicine at such short notice. We spoke on the phone so we could have a brief introduction and I was sold. Not only was she able and willing to watch him but I had no way of picking him up after my hospital discharge and she was willing to bring him home. She went above and beyond the care and support that was needed. She kept me posted daily on how he was and sent me pictures of him as well. I will be going through this surgery again and I will be making arrangements with Equasia for care of my little guy Leonidas. She wasn't just a pet sitter, she was a pet parent and she cared for him as such. 5 stars, I will always go to her if and when I need extended pet care. She provides a comfortable home for a newcomer, making it a safe space for him. I couldn't ask for a better place and person to watch over Leonidas. I am grateful to have met her and thankful for everything that she did.

Equasia was amazing! Right from when we dropped off our cat, it was clear she just loved animals and had a gentle way with them. We had her left for a longer stay (10 days) but Equasia sent photos and general updates every day and when picking our cat back up was clear she was taken care of extremely well!
