With a lifelong dedication to animal care, I bring both genuine passion and hands on experience to every pet I look after. I specialize in caring for pets with special requirements, including administering oral medications, managing ongoing health conditions, and providing the extra attentiveness that some animals need to truly thrive. Some personal information about myself: My household includes 2 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, and goats. I’m very comfortable with animals of all kinds and needs. Professional experience: My background is in elderly hospice care. It has been foundational to how I work. It instilled in me a disciplined, attentive approach to caregiving. Showing up consistently, reading subtle cues, and maintaining a calm presence aren't just nice to have, they're essential. I apply that same standard of care to every animal entrusted to me.

He has cataracts and can’t see well, and when I checked in ever so often on my baby, he was constantly playing with Enrique and more vocal than I’ve seen with other cat sitters. Enrique A. is truly a 'pet whisperer.' He watched my two very different dogs and handled both of their unique personalities perfectly. He managed to keep up with Zuko, my hyperactive 2-year-old Schnauzer, making sure he got all the exercise and play he needs. Even more impressive was how he bonded with Kody, my Dachshund, who is very protective and usually struggles with strangers; Enrique’s patience completely won him over. Throughout the stay, Enrique kept me totally at ease with frequent updates and great photos of the boys. Beyond the great pet care, he was incredibly responsible and secure with our home. I felt completely comfortable with him entering and leaving while we were away, and he left the house in immaculate condition. He was also wonderfully flexible with our schedule, which made the whole process stress-free. It’s rare to find someone who balances high-energy play, gentle patience, and total professionalism. I can’t recommend Enrique enough!
