I have lived with and loved dogs my entire life and in recent years (with the addition of a new puppy to the family) have loved learning about dog behavior and psychology. As a result, I communicate with them in terms they understand which leads to more confident, comfortable, and happy pups!

I have a Honda CRV that has plenty of room in the backseat and/or trunk for pups on our way to take a walk and get out some energy. I am a safe, slow driver who is always mindful of the dog's comfort while driving. I am also extremely respectful of other people's (and their pup's) belongings and space. I always leave a space how I found it, as if I was not even there!

My daughter Emma Rose grew up with an adopted dog Frankie. From an early age she has shown a special interest in dogs. Three years after Frankie's passing (she lived with us for 12 years) I got another six months old stray dog Beau, a pit mix. From the get go Emmy has been instrumental in showing and teaching me how to raise Beau properly, and he has turned into a good dog who is 2 1/2 years old now. Emmy is a responsible young nurse today but her secret wish was to be a dog trainer. She will take great care of any dog entrusted to her!

Schedule
I am a pediatric nurse who is looking to stay active, work with dogs to explore that passion, and make a little extra money on my days off!

- I want to know everything about your dog so that we are both set up for success to have a good time together! A few examples are: -Triggers on a walk that can lead to lunging or overly excited behavior so I can be prepared/avoid them -Tools like the kind of leash/collars your pup is used to -Commands you use with your dog that they might recognize/respond to, if any -How your pup usually behaves around other dogs
