My name is Emmy. I have 3 kids (22, 19 and 9) I also have a Basenji named Buddy who is 7 years old and a 3 year old Bernedoodle named Olive . I have 25 years of professional pet care experience. I started in the pet care industry as a kennel technician looking after and caring for many dogs( including feeding, medicating and playing). I have also worked as a Lodging manager responsible for all staff to ensure the best care possible for all the dogs we looked after. After that I worked as a Veterinary Technician providing assistance to Veterinarians providing medical care as well as 2 additional years of receptionist work. Emmy is the best! I had her come play with my high energy cat 3 days a week for 2 months. She was so sweet to him and knew exactly how to keep him interested throughout the play session. She was always very communicative and friendly! She was also willing to accommodate any last minute changes, like when I picked up an extra shift at work and asked her to come for an extra day. Also the best pics I have of my cat are from Emmy now. She also went the extra mile to make my other cat, who is very anxious around new people, feel comfortable. She did her best to win my scaredy cat over, while making sure to respect her boundaries. I believe the ability to form a bond with an animal, in a way that they are comfortable with, is one of the most important traits that a pet sitter can have and Emmy excels at this! I promise you will not regret booking Emmy to care for your furbaby.
Emmy was absolutely incredible, truly went above and beyond in every way. She followed our instructions perfectly and sent the most amazing photos of our two cats, which made us feel so at ease while we were away. Just one hour into our trip, we checked our pet cam and saw that our little troublemaker Miso had knocked over the dry food container and helped herself to a full-on feast 😅 We messaged Emmy, and she responded immediately and took care of everything without hesitation. Total lifesaver. Our other cat, Almond, is the sweetest girl but very shy and usually hides under the bed whenever someone new comes over. We’re always a bit anxious about leaving her, but Emmy completely changed that for us. From the photos she sent, it was clear Almond felt safe and comfortable. She wasn’t hiding at all and even greeted Emmy, purring and cuddling with her! Huge win in our book. She was also incredibly attentive to our home overall and kept us in the loop if anything seemed off—for example, she noticed our AC stopped working and let us know right away. That level of care gave us so much extra peace of mind. Honestly, 10/10 service. BOOK HER. Emmy is an exceptional pet sitter, and we were able to fully enjoy our trip knowing our girls were in such caring, attentive hands.

Highly recommend Emmy! She was very communicative and suggested a meet-and-greet before booking. My cats warmed up to her almost immediately. And she took some really great photos. I will definitely try to rebook with her in the future.

Schedule
My schedule is open. Visits anytime between 7am and 10pm. I am a mother of 2 graduates and 1 child in school, I work my daily schedule around my routine. My husband helps with our kids when I need to be working.
