35, native north Texan. Huge animal lover with a very spoiled fur baby of my own. (: Nearly 15 years experience in both overnight house and pet sitting, and daily drop-ins/walks. I have spent years working as a personal pet care giver in both the DFW and Austin area, and have professional experience in the past at a local vet clinic, as well as multiple boarding and grooming facilities across Austin. I am currently local to DFW, namely the SE McKinney area. I can do anything from playing fetch with a toy or ball, spending downtime hanging out leisurely with your pet giving scratches and treats, to simple leash obedience and basic training upkeep on walks and otherwise. I have experience administering medications, overseeing dogs enduring rehab from various circumstances, working with special diets, and handling particular behavioral issues such as aggression, anxiety, etc. I am open to working with puppies and older dogs alike, and size or breed is no issue as well! Let me make a new friend out of your own best friend too!

Security codes for doors, or cameras on the outside of your home do nothing but verify my hard work- I’m happy to have your feeling of reassurance!

This is my second time having Emmily pet/house-sit and I’ll never ask for anyone else as long as she’s with Rover! Having peace of mind when I travel is invaluable.
Emmily was unresponsive and cost my husband and I worry and unexpected incurred fees as we needed to unexpectedly jump on an emergency flight back home to get to our dog who was left alone and unattended. According to our security system and camera our elderly dog who has a hard time holding her bladder was left alone for a considerable amount of time and overnight. (We booked Emmily for an overnight stay and she didn’t fulfill her duties with her care on this end of the bargain either) After endless calls and texts messages (which she read according to the iMessage time stamp) we had no choice but to leave and fly back to Texas. After landing back into Texas the next morning, Emmily finally texted back saying she had an emergency.
Emmily is super sweet, responsible and communicative. Plus, my dog smiles at her when she comes over!
Emmily did a fantastic job caring for our animals while we were away. It’s such a relief to find someone who can ensure the safety of your home & animals while you’re away so you can actually enjoy your vacation or not have to stress when traveling for work. She was very communicative and sent photo/video updates regularly. Will definitely be reaching out to her for our future pet sitting needs!
How do you define "peace of mind"? The ability to travel for either business or pleasure while knowing your pets are extremely well cared for makes that travel so much better. My experience with Emily and Rover has been fantastic, and if my dogs could speak I am certain they would agree. The stress and bad habits from boarding are eliminated, and that give me peace of mind while away.
Emmily has a spunky personality great for pups of all sizes. She is very attentive to a dogs needs and is so loving and kind that your pooch is likely to meet it's new best human friend!

Schedule
Currently my day-to-day is serving as a caretaker for my mother with Parkinson’s. I balance my schedule with her at our home amongst the scheduling needs of my clients.
