Will walk for wags

Let me start off by saying I am so excited to meet your four (or three!) legged best friend. Animals make my heart happy and I will provide all the love and care you would if you weren't away. I have a Bachelors of Science in Large Animal Science. I have volunteered at animal shelters to walk all the rescues. I worked at a 24 hour emergency Vet hospital renowned on the East Coast , I owned two rescues well into their late teens. I love all shapes and sizes and personalities. If you dog wants to run, we will be morning joggers. If your dog wants to play, I'm a tug of war champion. I do work full time so if your dog needs a lot of attention throughout the day I would not be a good fit M-Th. I believe in transparency and will always let you know prior to any booking should I foresee it not being the best match for your pets needs.

Loved Emmie! She was very communicative, asked plenty of questions, sent pictures, and we felt totally comfortable leaving our dog with her. She was not only attentive but seemed delighted by our dog's peculiarities. Will hopefully be booking again!

Emmie and her partner were so so wonderful with Archie! Archie has a bit of separation anxiety, so Emmie took the time to meet him before the actual stay so he was comfortable with her. Archie also takes medications and has a specific diet that Emmie was able to accommodate to with no problem. We were gone for 5 days abroad and she was super communicative, sending pictures, and overall giving us updates on Archie's stay. I would 100% recommend Emmie for boarding and will definitely book with her again.

Emmie and her partner are super great with my dog and I feel so comfortable leaving him with them. They are incredibly patient with him and good at sensing when he needs some space versus wants to be cuddly or play. They follow our care plan really well and just all around take great care of Schnappi and are understanding of his (at times) challenging behavior. We've left Schnappi with Emmie several times and she is consistently great. She also has a window he loves to stare out to watch people and squirrels.

Nothing but good things to say about Emmie. Super accommodating and attentive. Great communication. Our doggo, Fatima, felt right at home with Emmie.

Emmie was so kind and patient with my pup Milo and all of his special needs. She made me feel confident that he was well taken care of, went above and beyond to make him and me feel comfortable, and was in regular communication to let me know how he was doing. I’m so grateful for her thoughtfulness in making sure Milo had a good stay, and know I am leaving him in good hands when she watches him again in the future. Thank you, Emmie!

Emmie is fantastic! Such a great communicator and made us feel so comfortable with leaving our dog parker in her care for over a week. Parker was well looked after and would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!

Schedule

I’m currently a full time Rover sitter- so your pet is my number 1 priority. We follow their schedule - whether it’s set feeding and walking times - or free time play and nap as you please. I aim to make this temporary change in caretaker as seamless as possible. Just a slight change in scenery and a lot more 1:1 time.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in an apartment
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I treat your pet like my own (unless you don’t allow them on the furniture, because I need to snuggle those babies!) I prefer to be with your pet as much as possible, and if I need to leave the house I prefer to bring them with me.

A typical day

I love playing with dogs, from tug of war, to fetch, to hide and seek. We will go exploring in your neighborhood and nearby areas. If they need to snuggle, I have all the ear scratching for them.

Please tell me if you pet is on restrictive diets, has food allergies, pet peeves or neighbor hood turf wars with the locals. Also tell me their favorite treats and emergency care phone numbers. I have zero preferences but I do love my bully breeds.
