I work 4 days a week at a cruelty recovery facility in Columbus. This gives me 3 days, Sat, Mon, and Tues, where I am able to take clients.

I live in my home with a fenced in, quarter acre lot here in town in Lancaster. I live with my wife, two cats, a lizard, and my three dogs, Vinny, Slice, and Wrecks. All are neutered and socialized well with other animals. Your pup would get walks, and also time to romp and play outside. All humans in the house work with dogs; we are well versed in canine behavior and Enrichment. My home is a dog's paradise. Ask about skill building and training if your stay is 4 days or longer.

A typical day
Pets can enjoy a variety of enriching activities including puzzles, snuffle mats, lickmats, toppl/rumbl, walks in nearby parks. We work on loose lead walking and basic obedience for mental enrichment as well. For added enrichment, dogs can learn a new trick of the owners choice for a fee (stays 4 days or longer)

I am here to help you with your more problematic family members. I have over 5 years of professional animal care experience. I started in dog daycare, have honed my training and handling skills, switched my focus to animal shelters, and am now a manager of animal care at a cruelty recovery facility in Columbus. I am Low Stress Handling Silver certified, and Fear Free Shelter certified. With a background in handling difficult dogs, I am prepared to help you and your dog regardless of the hurdles. I am comfortable with finding creative solutions and collaborating with trainers. If you have tried other Rover walkers and it hasn't worked out, I might be able to help you.

Emmett was wonderful throughout the process as we tried to introduce our dog to Emmett for an upcoming trip. We adopted Poppey at the end of May and found out that she has some reactive issues. Emmett was really great at working with us to try to find solutions to her reactivity. He really went above and beyond, and he was very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.
