Pet care experience

Active, animal loving college girl

I've lived with and taken care of dogs, rabbits, gerbils, chickens, and horses since I was 4 years old. I fully raised and trained two Swiss Shepherds, and have dog-sat for neighbors, friends, and family since I was 10. Nothing makes me happier than getting outside with my dogs (or any dogs for that matter!)

Emmeline is a great help and a true dog lover! Very communicative and goes out of her way to make sure the pups are taken care of. Highly recommend!

Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets in a client’s home by ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining their usual routine. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and any specific instructions from their owner. Safety and trust are very important to me, so I’m careful on walks, mindful of the home environment, and always respectful of both the pet’s needs and their owner’s space. I want pets to feel calm and happy, and owners to feel confident that their pet is in good hands!

A typical day

A typical day with the pets I watch would depend on their age, energy level, and routine. I’d prioritize exercise and special attention. I love giving pets mental stimulation through sniff walks, toys, and hands-on playtime. If I’m caring for them in a client’s home, I'll aim to keep their day feeling familiar and low-stress.

The more I know ahead of time, the better I can care for your pet. Please share anything important about their schedule, behavior, medical needs, walking style, triggers, and comfort level with people or other animals. I’m more than happy to adapt to shy, energetic, or senior pets, and I want to make sure they feels as safe and comfortable as possible.
