I’m home full-time, which allows me to give dogs consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. Because of this, pets in my care are rarely left alone and get frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and interaction. My schedule is extremely flexible, so I’m able to accommodate different routines, including puppies that need more frequent outings and senior dogs that benefit from a calm environment and regular care. I’m also able to work with last-minute bookings and different drop-off or pick-up times when needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, structured environment with a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, exercise, and play. With my background raising and managing multiple dogs, I’m very experienced reading dog body language and carefully managing group dynamics. All new dogs are introduced slowly to make sure everyone is comfortable. I also require meet-and-greets beforehand so I can ensure a good fit and a safe environment for every dog in my care. Dogs are separated during feeding to prevent resource guarding, and I have crates available for dogs that are crate-trained or need their own quiet space to rest. Because I’m home full-time, dogs receive consistent supervision, attention, and care throughout the day.

Information Emmarose G. would like to know about your pet
I take the health and safety of all dogs in my care very seriously. For the safety of my dogs and all visiting pets, I require that all dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations and in good health prior to boarding. Before any stay, I also like to learn about each dog’s personality, behavior, and daily routine so I can keep their schedule as consistent and comfortable as possible. This includes feeding schedules, exercise needs, training expectations, and any special preferences your dog may have. My goal is to provide a safe, structured environment where every dog feels comfortable and well cared for.
A typical day
A typical day in my home is structured but relaxed so dogs feel comfortable and engaged. Mornings usually start with potty breaks and some time outside in my fenced yard to stretch, explore, and play. After that, dogs settle in for breakfast and some calm time. Throughout the day I rotate between supervised yard time, play sessions, and relaxing inside the house. Dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation. Depending on the dog’s personality and energy level, this might include walks, structured play, basic training reinforcement, or just relaxing nearby and getting affection. Because I’m home full-time, I’m able to give dogs consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. I keep a close eye on group dynamics and make sure every dog is comfortable and safe. In the evenings we wind down with more outdoor time, feeding, and quiet relaxation before bedtime so dogs can settle in and feel at home.

Pet care experience
I have extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I previously bred German Shepherds and raised and managed a pack of 10 of my own dogs, which gave me a deep understanding of canine behavior, pack dynamics, and safely handling multiple dogs at once. Through my work with the American Kennel Club, I earned the distinction of Breeder of Merit, reflecting my commitment to responsible breeding, health standards, and proper care. I’m also an active member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America and participate in the Schutzhund club community, which keeps me actively involved in training, temperament evaluation, and working-dog development. Because of this background, I’m comfortable working with energetic puppies that need structure and training, as well as senior dogs that need patience and attentive care. I’m experienced reading dog body language, preventing conflicts between dogs, and maintaining a calm, safe environment. Dogs tend to warm up to me quickly, and I genuinely enjoy working with them. I also love helping rescue dogs feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away.
Reviews

Emmarosa came through for me and Penni with a last-minute booking, and I couldn't be more grateful. Her knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care for Penni gave me complete confidence. She went above and beyond, and it truly made a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you, Emmarosa, for your kindness and service!

Amazing dog sitter for our girls. We have one young dog and one old one and she took care of each of their individuals needs and offered extra attention. I appreciate the frequent updates and pictures. I was comforted knowing our babies were being well taken care of and got to stay home while we were out of town. We will be using Emmarose again.

Emmarose is such a caring sitter. She keeps me updated on how my pup is doing every morning and evening with pics and videos too! My pup literally dragged me to her door when we arrived and nearly jumped into arms when she opened the door. Emmarose has quickly become my goto sitter for my pup.

Outstanding sitter! Just book Emma, not only is she is very knowledgeable about dog care, she is also attentive. She kept me updated from AM to PM with texts and videos. Great experience for both me and my dog.
