I love to spend as much time with the dogs I am sitting! If it’s the weekend only this is easy to do - If your dog would like a friend my Rottie would like to come with! If not no worries at all! For weekdays: I work from home and can make moving to your home work but will need a desk space or active table space with the ability to plug in - and preferably the ability to bring my 4 year old friendly Rottie with me. If I am unable to bring her what I have done in the past is work from my home and then spend the evening/night with your dog. I always make a lunch break work for this plan. This often mimics similar to a 8-5 schedule. We can definitely discuss details on this! She is part of a team that helps a rescue in town dog test new dogs on their reaction to others! I look forward to hearing from you.- I try to be flexible as possible for your dogs needs. If these schedules don’t work for you - please still reach out if you want to discuss options!

I am comfortable continuing what you have done with your dog in your home. Normal walks? You got it. Fenced yard and fetch? Terrific. I love to keep dogs into the regular routine as it’s already stressful for their human to be gone. I do request if you have scent plugs in your home that they are unplugged during any extended stay you schedule with me - thanks!

Just need to know how they react to different things - other dogs, cats, children, or distractions of any type. Do they have any resource guarding or other behavior issues that I should acknowledge and respect. How does your pet walk on a leash? Is there a routine that they usually follow? Do they have any fun quirks? I fall in love with every dog I take care of - they are one of mine while I am caring for them. A list of the basics: Food Schedule Bathroom Schedule Any “odd” behaviors - good or bad! (Please please please make sure I know of any resource guarding!) Any allergies How they behave on leash How they interact with new dogs Do they have a prey drive - what happens if we see a squirrel or a cat? Kennel? Free roam? Both? How long can they be left alone

I am an experienced pet care taker. I had a dog of my own for 7 years before she passed away of a heart condition. I now have the best Rottie in the earth. Before that my family had dogs and cats growing up. I also consistently foster animals through one of the organizations in town. All dogs on my profile are dogs I either owned, fostered, or babysat.

Emmalee was quickly responsive to our booking, open to a meet & greet prior to sitting, and treated our girls like her own! Very lucky we found her.
Emmalee is always great with Hank, and this time she stayed with Stanley too! The dogs were happy, tired, and well taken care of
This is the 2nd time we have booked Emmalee. She is amazing! She took wonderful care of our two babies and our home. So thankful we found her!
Emmalee did a great job taking care of our dogs and house. She sent pictures and communicated often making us feel more comfortable leaving our dogs in her care. We really appreciate the care she gave to our dogs and have already booked her again. We would highly recommend her!
