After 15 years in the classroom, I’m stepping away from teaching and giving myself space to explore what’s next. In the meantime, I’ve found that caring for pets offers its own kind of therapy—fresh air, wagging tails, and the joy of connection. Dog walking fits beautifully into this season of my life. I’m available most days (except Mondays and Saturdays) and have a highly flexible schedule. Whether your pup needs a midday stroll or an afternoon adventure, I’m happy to be there.

I care for pets in their homes and on walks by following their routines closely, whether it’s feeding, playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company in their favorite cozy spot. I bring calm, consistent energy so your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away. On walks, I match your dog’s pace and personalits. I'm happy embarking on sniffy strolls or power walks. I’m also happy to take pups on longer “field trip” hikes if they need extra exercise or adventure. I don’t currently have pets of my own, so your dog gets my full attention—and all the love they can handle.

A typical day
I love to take your dog for long walks! I love to let your dog sniff around and get a lay of the land. I also love to have them work by sitting or hunting for a treat! If your doggo has a favorite game let me know and I'll play it with them!

Pet care experience
I was a proud pit bull mom for 10 years. Sugar was 70ish pounds of cuddly, slightly neurotic sweetness. Since she passed, I’ve been promoted to Dog Aunt for friends’ pups of all shapes and sizes. Whether it’s a beefy blockhead or a tiny teddy bear on four legs, I bring belly rubs, structure, and plenty of love. I’m up for extended walks, couch snuggles, ball tosses and sticking to your training plan. Basically, I show up like the fun aunt, with treats, patience, and good shoes.

Long story but Emmalee saved the day for me. Needed someone last min to watch my sweet lil grizzly and she took the best care of her and made her feel comfy while I had to be away. Emmalee is laid back and calm/confident but in the most responsible manner. Thank you Emmalee and family for helping us out! Highly recommend!
