I have two cats at home, and I am willing to house cats at my home. Small dogs are allowed on a case by case basis. I have an extra bedroom to be used as a safe zone for your pet's privacy. I also already have extra litter boxes. Our cats here have experience meeting other cats and dogs. They interact well with them. As for dogs I am willing to dedicate as much time needed to make sure they adjust well and feel safe with me. I love to play with dogs and give them belly rubs.

It is important to know about any dietary restrictions the dog may have, the location of any pet supplies I may need (food, water, treats, toys), and anything the dog is scared of or what he/she enjoys.

Exercise is very important for a dog when its owner(s) is/are away. If the client has a backyard, I will constantly take the dog there so that it has a familiar and comfotable play space. Additionally, I love taking dogs on walks to nearby public green spaces and playing fetch and tug-of-war with your pet's favorite toy. Relaxation and destressing is also important for a dog when its owner(s) is/are away. I will make sure that first encounters are slow and comfortable with the dogs, and that they recieve plenty of pets and rubs to feel loved and destress during while the client(s) is/are away.

Hi! My name is Emery and I am a recent college grad. I've had a wide variety of pets that I've taken care of in the 7 years of experience I have. I have taken care of dogs for about 4 years and have experience feeding, walking, and watching dogs. I also really enjoy taking dogs on hikes! I have mostly done house drop ins where I would feed the dogs and play with them. I own three cats myself, Pumpkin (13), Bean (11 weeks old) and Sprout (3). I have trained the older ones to do tricks and to go on walks. My most recent experience has mostly been in care for cats, where I would feed and play with them at home visits.

Emma was AMAZING. Such a lifesaver. We had a weird emergency where a Rover sitter canceled on us in the middle of the night while we were on a vacation, and Emma sprang into action super quickly and saved the day. Emma went above and beyond, without ever even having even met us, and cared for our dog exceptionally well. Emma sent constant photo updates, was really easy to communicate with and responsive, and asked all the questions you'd hope someone caring for your pet would ask. I was a Rover host for years and I have pretty high standards, but Emma exceeded them. I can't recommend Emma enough.
Emma is an avid animal lover and a perfect pet sitter. She takes care of her two cats Pumpkin and Sprout enthusiastically as well as her friends dogs when they need animal help. Emma has personally taken care of my cat while I’ve been away and I always come back to a happy and healthy cat (and tons of great pictures and videos). I feel super comfortable knowing she’s taking care of my pets because of her pet experience and love for all animals!
Emma has watched both my dog and my cat on multiple occasions. Every time they’ve treated them with immense care and responsibility making sure that they are a fed, walked/litter changed, and played with. My dog (a geriatric dachshund) still gets excited anytime he sees them! Emma loves animals and i would trust them with any pet.
Emma is an extremely compassionate person for everything living thing they encounter. She is very receptive to any needs of the animal, whether they be basic or personal. She has had experience taking care of my family's two dogs, and has walked countless more. She is used to dealing with both "invisible" fences and dogs that require walks on a leash. My family and I have one large dog and one medium dog, but I know that she is comfortable and enthusiastic about loving dogs of all sizes. Emma is very good at giving updates and communicating about any potential problems or clarifications. She is very determined to make sure that the pet is cared for in a way that is best for the pet's individual needs.
