Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is second nature to me. Whether your pet needs playtime, structured care, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help! I have experience with dogs, cats, and even exotic pets, and I’m happy to tailor my care to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Dogs: Growing up, I was always surrounded by Labrador Retrievers. I have cared for dogs of this breed from puppy training through end-of-life stages. Now, I am a proud Italian Greyhound owner. Ripley is 10, stubborn, and as energetic as ever despite her battle with skin cancer. Needless to say, I am comfortable with dogs large and small, and I will provide expert care for your pups, no matter their stage of life. Cats: In addition to experience with dogs, I have always had a special fondness for felines. I picked out my first cat at six years old at the animal shelter. Fifteen years later, our sweet tuxedo, Bella, is still in my dad’s care. My husband and I are the parents of one extremely loud and expressive black cat named Edgar. He lives an indoor/outdoor lifestyle, though his freedom is limited when we are working in an office or not home for supervision. Exotic Pets: Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with exotic pets. My tortoise, Theo, has been part of my family for 13 years, and through him, I’ve learned the ins and outs of reptile care, from proper diet to habitat maintenance. I understand that exotic pets have unique needs, and I am happy to provide specialized care to keep them safe and healthy while you’re away.

Emma watched our dog in our home over a long weekend. We returned home to a happy dog and a clean house. Emma sent pictures of our dog on walks and playing fetch and let us know how he was doing throughout the stay. I highly recommend Emma and will use her again!
Emma does a great job with my dog, Ripley. She is caring and sensitive to her needs. Ripley can be extremely difficult and does not trust easily, but Emma and Ripley always get along with ease.
Emma has been our go-to pet sitter for many years, providing excellent care for my two Irish Wolfhounds and my cat. Whether we lived in a house or an apartment, she always showed great attention to detail and genuine care for our pets. I remember one time when my old dog, Puppins—who was a bit of an oddball—left a dead squirrel on the couch. Emma handled it like a pro! She’s always been professional, reliable, and wonderful with our animals. Highly recommend!
