My family have had cats since before I was born, we had rabbits when I was a teenager and I bunnysitted for friends before Covid. I’ve also house sat for some family friends who have two cats and a dog. I’ve given rabbits and cats medicine. One thing I wished pet sitters would do when I had them was to send regular updates and photos (daily) so I will absolutely do that for you as I know how reassuring it is when you’re away from them. (I’ve done my best to set my rates based off of the latest minimum wage, if you’d like to use my services but think they’re too expensive, please message me anyway as I am doing it on a case by case basis :D)

Emma was amazing! She arranged a meet & greet as our dogs are very anxious and are not great with new people - this went really well. Emma asked a lot of questions to make sure we covered everything, and she took really good care of our dogs - she has a really calming presence!

Emma was absolutely amazing ? She came over a few days before to get to know our pets and be shown what to do. She arrived when she said she would and sent photos to me the whole time I was away. Our pets loved her instantly as she has a very calm and loving nature. We arrived back home to a beautifully clean home and healthy, happy pets. Highly recommended!

Let me know how energetic your dog is, so how much walking they would need in atypical day. If they’ve got any current illnesses or disabilities that I should be aware of. How they are being on a lead, if they have good recall if they can go off the lead in safe spaces and if they’re wary of other dogs (should I be crossing the road and keeping our distance if we come across other animals or people).
A typical day
I like to match the energy of the pet I’m sitting, so if they’re running around, playing with toys or bringing me toys I’ll play with them, one dog I watched loved it when you chased him around a table, others love to just sit and relax and have a good fuss which I’m always down for. I love to go on walks down the canal, around the quarry’s or by the river Trent, mostly I like to explore new places though.

I’ve just returned from three months away volunteering on an organic farm in North Yorkshire and now have a lot of free time on my hands to spend walking your pets or just keeping them company!
