Hi there! My name is Emma, and I’m 21 years old. Caring for animals of all shapes and sizes has been the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with 10+ pets at any given time. Everything from farm animals like sheep, pigs, and goats to beloved household pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and even fish. I’m naturally a quiet and shy person around people, but with animals, I shine. My passion for their well-being led me to work at a local veterinary hospital, where I expanded my knowledge and hands on skills. I have experience in grooming, administering medications, following special diets, safely restraining animals, and reading their body language to ensure they feel secure and understood. I provide a level of care that goes above and beyond. I treat your home and your pets with the same dedication I give my own. Not only can you trust that your pets will be safe and loved, but you’ll also return to a home that’s even tidier than you left it. With your permission, I’m also happy to provide grooming services like nail trims and baths, so you come home to a happy pet and no added chores. I don’t do this for the money, I do it because I truly love helping both animals and the people who care about them. My heart for service has to go somewhere, and I hope it can go to you and your furry family. I love getting outdoors for walks and hikes, and if your dog enjoys that kind of adventure, we can absolutely make it happen! I’ve built long-lasting relationships with several clients who originally found me on Rover years ago, and I’m grateful for the trust they continue to place in me. If I had to choose, my favorite dog breed would be the Dachshund. I hope to have one of my own someday. I adore dogs, but I have a special bond with cats. I took a break from offering pet care services at the start of 2025, but I’m excited and ready to put myself back out there again. I’d love the chance to care for your pets and give you peace of mind while you’re away.

Whether they’re asking to go outside, ready to play, hungry, or simply looking for affection, I’m able to recognize and respond to their needs. I’ve spent years studying animal body language and have learned how to interact with them in a way that makes them feel understood, safe, and comfortable.

Schedule
I’ve had cats my entire life, and the two I have now are truly like my children… I’d do anything for them. One of them lives with a chronic feline urinary condition, so I’m very familiar with managing special diets, monitoring symptoms, and giving a little extra care and attention when it’s needed. Because of my experience, I understand feline behavior deeply and know how to make cats feel safe, comfortable, and understood. You can trust that your cat will be treated with the same level of love and attentiveness I give my own. And yes, I’ll gladly handle the dreaded litter box before you return!
