Your Dog's New Bestie! 🐕🖤
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them feels completely natural to me. I gained my first best friend when I was just a few months old and we had him until the ripe old age of 16. We went on to have two more dogs, one of which flew the nest with me into our own place. He was my sidekick for a few more years before I lost him to a short illness. Following this, I have gone on to rehome two beautiful dogs who I still have today and share with my partner, Colin. He will be on hand to assist with your pet care too. I have experience in caring for everything from small breeds to big breeds and even a Romanian rescue. I also volunteer with a local dog rehoming charity in my spare time. I want to make sure every dog feels loved and comfortable while their family is away. I truly treat every pup like they’re my own, because I know how much they mean to you.

We couldn’t recommend Emma more! She came and house sat for us from first thing in the morning into early hours of the following morning when we attended our friends wedding. She took such amazing care of our senior Romanian rescue who had only been with us for a few days prior. We had lots of lovely updates which completely put our minds at ease. We were in no way rushed to come back, allowing us to enjoy our day knowing Millie was in the best hands 😃. Emma has so much experience with dogs and from the get go you can just tell she’s a doggie person. We would not hesitate to use her again and to recommend her to friends too.

Emma was fab with Pippa. She can be a little timid with new people to begin with but Emma gave lots of cuddles and reassurance which was great. Emma took her out for a walk at the local park to let Pippa stretch her legs as well. We have Emma booked in for a weekend stay in December and have no doubts Pippa will be well looked after with lots of cuddles and playtime 😊
Emma has looked after our rescue dog, Bean, on many occasions, including overnight. Bean absolutely loves Emma and all the fuss she gets! Bean has EPI which means she needs enzymes with food (and is extremely sneaky with food!) and Emma is more than equipped to manage this. Emma is a true dog lover and brings Bean into her pack with her partner and two pups. She is very responsible and I know she always looks after others’ dogs to the highest standard. Being a proud dog mum, she understands how worried you can be leaving your dog with someone else, but she will make sure they are cared for and safe.
I can’t recommend Emma enough for pet sitting! There are several occasions where she’s watched over my two cats, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. I loved getting regular updates and pictures that showed how comfortable and happy they were. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. They got all the cuddles, company and play time they needed. I came home to two super happy, relaxed kitties. I didn’t worry once about my cats as I knew they were safe and content. If you’re looking for someone responsible, loving, and attentive to care for your pets, Emma is absolutely the person to trust!
I have know Emma for 3 years - she was a Trustee at DAWGS (dog rehoming charity) for 2.5 of those years. Her passion, care and dedication to dogs was second to none. She adopted Maple from DAWGS during her tenure. Emma would create a safe, loving and warm home environment for any dog who was in her care. She is trustworthy, honest and reliable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Emma to anyone looking to hone board their dog.

Schedule
I work full time Monday to Friday but live with my partner who works 7 nights on and 7 off so we have almost round the clock care availability.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a ground floor flat. There is 2 small steps into the building and one small step out to the garden. The garden is enclosed by a wall and gate. In my home, the dogs habe free reign and are allowed on the furniture. My dogs sleep on my bed.
Pets
A typical day
I love to go exploring round places like Scolty Hill or having a roam around the beach. I would tailor the walks to the dog I am walking. I appreciate some dogs prefer more calmer, leisurely walks.
