I worked at a pet boarding facility for 2 years and have also worked at a humane society. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, cats of all temperaments, and even other animals like rabbits, hamsters, rats, horses, pigs, geckos, axolotls, and fish. I have experience with overnight boarding, overnight sitting, daycare, dog walking, photography, nail trims, and bathing. I am both human and pet first aid/CPR certified and have certifications from IBPSA and Pack Pro. I have certifications for Fear Free and Cat Friendly Professional. I am comfortable feeding raw.

Safety, trust & environment
I will follow all instructions that you leave me for your pet and how to properly care for them. All dogs will be leashed when not within the home or a fenced area unless their recall and training is perfect. Cats will be kept inside unless they have a leash or an enclosed escape proof area. While house sitting, the longest I would be gone would be 9 hours.

Emma is fantastic. We came home to our happy cats. During her drop ins she communicated well and provided updates.
Emma is so patient, kind and trustworthy with my dog, I'm so thankful that she has been been able to accommodate last minute walk bookings and when the door lock wasn't working, she waited for 10 min until my husband got home and opened the door. She didn't want to leave my dog who really needed to go pee. Melted my heart hearing that, thank you Emma for taking care of my girl!
We had a great experience with Emma! Correspondence was easy and straightforward, and her approach during our initial meeting was calm, reassuring, and professional — which immediately put us at ease. Most importantly, our dog seemed happy and relaxed when we returned, which says a lot about the quality of care he received while we were away. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I currently have another part-time job at a shelter. I will spend as much time with your pets as I can while working my other job 3 days a week from 8am-4:30pm. If you are no more than 30 minutes away from my work, I can go back on my 1 hour lunch break.
