Safety, trust & environment

I am receptive to dogs' emotions and needs, being able to give space to your dog to get used to my presence, and being able to provide comfort when I have gained the trust of your dog. I have experience working with multiple dogs at a time, including puppies (upwards of 25 dogs), meaning I can identify and manage disputes between dogs and people. I can effectively crate dogs too if they are needed to be put away for their safety. I am happy to work with multiple pets I've worked with dogs with high food guarding or sharing issues, meaning I will respect the feeding time(s) of your dog and manage the toys and attention given to your pups. I will also respect any other routines your dog lives by, such as bedtime, wake-up time and playtime

Information Emma W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pup has any routines they like to stick to. We can discuss any more details you feel relevant to ensure I can provide the best care for your dog

A typical day

Your pup(s) will have the opportunity to play with all their toys when I visit. I won’t rush walks with your dog, to allow us to explore and find new smells

Pet care experience

I love dogs! I volunteered at Dogbus, which took in stray dogs from Romania and Pakistan. We also pulled dogs out of kill shelters or situations where they have been abused from around the UK, giving every dog a chance for their happy ever after home I am patient with all the dogs I work with, from those who have behaviour issues or have completely withdrawn, to those pups that can't get enough of licking your face.

Emma is absolutely brilliant with my little jack russell Cosmo, he absolutely adores her. I have been a very anxious dog mum as I've had a big change in my circumstances, Emma has been very reassuring and I trust her wholeheartedly to look after my little boy!

Emma is fantastic. On first meeting Emma, myself and my little Lily-loos was very comfortable around her. She has a relaxed and calm presents, engaging me myself and Lily making us both feel comfortable. For me it was important to find someone who Lily would be happy with as she can be nervous and Emma has truly shown compassion and patience, allowing Lily to do her own thing on her walks and enjoy them. Currently we have bookings on a regular basis for two walks a week, Emma is great at filling out our "Rover Card" with pictures and information from the walks. It's a pleasure for Lily to be on the walks too, we can see she is having fun with different routes and Emma also allows her to use her nose to direct the walk which is fantastic. 100% recommend enquiring with Emma for her services, she is honest, professional, compassionate and loving.
