Highlights
Pet care experience
Hand in Paw!
I’ve taken care of animals - specifically cats and dogs - who were injured and/or abandoned out by the pound. It can be hard to ask for help with your pet! They’re your family! But I love them like they’re mine, too. Nothing made me happier growing up than sending needy animals to their happy, safe, forever homes.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I love getting to speak with the client first and ask them what areas the pet’s things are most commonly in. I like to stick to only the locations I’ve been told are of use/need to me and I always try and leave some treats behind for a deserving furry friend (and they’re all deserving)!
Ratings and reviews
Emma did a great job taking care of my elderly cat, Lucy, over four days. She was conscientious about making sure Lucy got her medication and frequent feedings and I was able to relax knowing she was in good hands! I returned to a contented kitty and a house left in great shape. Highly recommended!
Emma is terrific! Responsible, relaxed, and self sufficient. She really understands dogs and their needs. She is clearly flexible (responding to a last minute request when our earlier booking fell through), and she left the house immaculate. We would be delighted to have her come sit for us again.

Writing is what I’d love to consider my day job, but it only really made the bulk of my income one year. That’s the year my taxes say I’m a writer! So I have a lot of time between chapters.
