I always aim to make pets feel as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible by maintaining their normal routine and giving them plenty of attention, care, and patience. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and household instructions carefully while also making sure pets receive playtime, companionship, exercise, and lots of affection. I know how important consistency is for animals, especially when their owners are away. For dogs, I provide walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, medication administration if needed, and plenty of engagement and supervision. For cats, I provide feeding, litter box cleaning, enrichment/playtime, brushing if requested, medication administration, and calm companionship that matches each cat’s comfort level and personality. I’m very attentive to behavior changes and always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and communication. I also make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.

Some things I like to know ahead of time include: • Feeding schedule, portion sizes, and any dietary restrictions • Potty routines and walking preferences • Energy level and favorite activities or toys • Any medications, allergies, or medical concerns • Behavioral quirks, fears, or triggers (other dogs, loud noises, separation anxiety, etc.) • Commands they know and training routines • Sleeping arrangements and daily schedule • How they typically react to new people or environments • Emergency contact and veterinarian information • Anything else that helps me keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible I know every pet is unique, and I always want to provide care that matches their individual personality and needs!

A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and cuddles tailored to each pet’s personality and needs. For dogs, that may include walks, play sessions, enrichment activities, outdoor time, feeding, medication if needed, and lots of affection and supervision throughout the day. I love keeping dogs active and engaged, whether that’s playing fetch, going on neighborhood walks, or simply spending quality time together. For cats, I focus on creating a calm and comfortable environment with interactive play, feeding, litter box care, brushing if they enjoy it, and giving them attention at their own pace. I understand that every pet is different, and I always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Since I work from home with flexible availability, pets get plenty of companionship, care, and attention throughout the day and evening.

Emma is one of the sweetest and most caring people I have ever met. She will not waiver any opportunity to stop and say hi to a pet on the street or stop fantasizing about owning many in our lifetime. Unfortunately our living situation does not allow pets so this will allow her to share her love and enthusiasm for life with furry friends for the time she has with them.
