I know how important is is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. When caring for pets in your home, I am very intentional and aware of their normal routines and rituals, give them lots of attention and affection, and bring a grounded, present, calm companionship with me. I carefully follow all instructions given regarding feeding, walks, medications, crating, household preferences, etc. My children and I very respectful of both of your pets and your home, and I am very responsive with my communications with regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are being well cared for and loved!

I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine ahead of time so I can make them feel as comfortable and safe as possible. It’s especially helpful to know about feeding schedules, medications, fears or triggers, favorite activities, energy level, leash behavior, sleeping habits, and how they do with kids, other pets, or being left alone. The more I know, the better I can care for and love on your pets like family.
A typical day
We love keeping pets active, happy, and feeling loved while their owners are away! Depending on the pet’s personality and needs, we enjoy walks, outdoor playtime, fetch, cuddles, enrichment games, relaxing outside in nature, and lots of attention and affection. Since we homeschool and spend a lot of time outdoors, your pets will get plenty of companionship, love, and interaction throughout the day.

I have been caring for animals my entire life. I was born and raised in the country surrounded by cats, dogs, the list goes on and on. I started pet and house sitting as a teenager and have continued since then. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love spending time with them. As as homeschooling single mom of two animal-loving kids, your pet won't be left alone all day. I spend a lot of time at home, and my children are kind, gentle, and very experienced around animals. They love helping with walks, playtime, and cuddles (with your permission, of course!). I offer plenty of attention, affection, and companionship, and I will treat your babies like part of our family.

Emma has cared for our dog, Tucker, and house sat for us several times, and she is one of the few people we feel completely comfortable leaving everything with when we're away. Tucker is an important part of our family, so finding someone we trust with him is no small thing. Emma is loving, attentive, and responsible, and it's obvious that she truly cares about the animals she looks after. Tucker is always relaxed and happy when we return home. Emma has also taken wonderful care of our house and plants. She is organized, very clean, pays attention to details, and communicates well if any questions come up. We always come home to a well-cared-for house and a content dog, which is such a gift when traveling. What stands out most about Emma is her trustworthiness. We never have to wonder whether things are being handled—we know they are.
