Safety, trust & environment
When first taking on a regular ongoing job I do ask to meet the dog before hand. Going into a clients home without the client there can be very scary for the dog so I take a very slow approach. I do ask the clients if there is any training or guidance for the walks to make sure the dog is getting consistent care. For cats, I follow any direction given plus cuddles if able.
Information Emma T. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know any special instructions for walks (e.g., avoid other dogs, they like to eat things). Anything that is being worked on such as heel.
A typical day
I love long walks to a nearby park and run with dogs. I do not take dogs off leash. I will avoid all dogs on walks.

Pets
Dog lover for 20 years!
Pet care experience
I am a school speech therapist on summer break! I would love to walk your dogs or do pop by visits. I have experience in all age dogs having cared for one for 20 years. I have raised multiple dogs from puppyhood. I have experience in all training including reactive dog training. I also have a 10 year old cat who has taught me the art of balancing cuddles and independence.
Reviews

Emma took great care of my kitty while I was gone for 9 days! I always miss my cat when I go away but the daily pictures and updates put me at ease. I trust Emma and will hire her again.

So wonderful to have you stop in for Lucy today. Thank you for the excellent notes about what all you two did. We’re so grateful to have your care and that you’re in the neighborhood. 🫶🏼

Emma did a wonderful job taking care of my kitty for the weekend. I would not hesitate to work with Emma again.

Emma was great! She came over every morning (very consistently) to feed, give pets and give our mostly indoor cat some outside time. We mentioned that if Peanut wants to go outside just keep eyes on her. Emma let Peanut bake in the sun and have some fresh air which is always a good thing and ushered her in when her time was up. We also bought a lot of stuff on Amazon Prime day and she brought in all our boxes, even big ones!
